LOWCOUNTRY CONSERVATIVES IN ACTION
The Lowcountry CIA, which organized in June 2010, has been educating the community on the meaning of the Constitution, how Congress works, how our state legislature works, Agenda 21, common core standards, and many other topics of concern to conservative citizens.
Speakers range from the Executive Editor of the Post & Courier (Charleston), pastors, economists, the State Supt. of Schools and our state school board member, and legislators.
Meetings are on the first Tuesday of every month (including election nights), 7 p.m., at the Country Inn & Suites. Guests have started to come at 6:30 with finger foods, to socialize.
We are initiating a movie night, on the third Tuesday of the month, 7 p.m., Ridge Baptist Church in Sangaree (exit 199 off I-26, turn toward Monks Corner), turn right onto Royle Road, and left when the road begins to bend to the right at an elementary school.
DECEMBER 3 — Pastor Eric Lethco (Old Fort Baptist Church) returns with a different message he calls ”I Pledge Allegiance.” Pastor Eric compared the Bible to the Koran last year. We’re looking forward to his latest thoughts.
NOVEMBER MEETING — 11/5, Meet Mitch Pugh, the Executive Editor of the Editorial Page of the Post & Courier. There is certainly a public perception that the entire media is liberal. Mr. Pugh can perhaps explain all this to us.
