Mesquite Tea Party member and Nevada State Coordinator for Tea Party Patriots, along with TPP National Coordinators Diana Reimer and Gregg Cummings, will join Las Vegas Tea Party in a flash rally to Reid in front of his office on Wednesday.

The purpose of this rally is "DC Intervention", and to send a message to our Senators that the Amnesty Bill should not be passed without deeper scrutiny. We want to prevent this bill from becoming the same "train wreck" that Obamacare has become, in the words of one of it's architects and supporters, Senator Max Baucus.

If at all possible, organize your local tea party to hold a rally in your city to coincide with this rally. Lets present a united front to the rest of the Country, that Nevada's Tea Parties stand in opposition to amnesty.

I'm sure many of you are aware of the importance of 2014 in Nevada's political history. This will be the first time in Nevada's history that at least one office from every single political seat in the State of Nevada will be open for a vote. I haven't done the math, but I'm pretty sure since it's never happened before, it will probably never happen again in our life times. 2014 is historic, incredibly important, and time for Nevada Tea Party's to come together to show a united front to our elected officials, our candidates, our State, and our Country. Let's set an example for the rest of the country to follow.

There are several ways in which we can do this, and I'm open to any and all suggestions. Here are a few of my own:

Attend bi-weekly (or whatever time frame we all agree upon) webinars and/or conference calls in which we will discuss legislative/voting/event matters, and how best to coordinate efforts so all our groups can work together towards State level political goals.
Share our event and other pertinent information on a common website (or in any other suggested and agreed upon manner), to make it more readily available to the public.
Agree upon key dates to coordinate protest or rally events that will be seen Statewide as a coordinated and united effort.
Choose State level legislative issues we will work on together as one unit, and present ourselves to the legislature in a united manner.
Coordinate local regular Town Hall or community meetings to educate and inform our local communities; coordinate these as close as possible with each other, to show unity to our community.
Schedule and attend a yearly or bi-yearly State Tea Party Conference. Not only to coordinate and communicate, but to show the public and our elected officials that we are a force to be reckoned with.
The most effective and immediately apparent way we can do this is for all our Tea Party's to march together in the Nevada Day Parade, 2013, in Carson City, Nevada. I have been in contact with the Parade officials, and will pass on any information I get from them, to you. Again, I am open to any suggestions, and again, here are mine: We enter the parade under one name, "Nevada Tea Party United" or something similar, to show that all the Tea Parties in this State are working together. We send representatives from all the Tea Parties across the State to all march together as a group, with each individual Tea Party wearing a uniform or some other item to identify from which Tea Party they are affiliated. We can work on a float if that becomes a possibility, but marching is the very least. We use this opportunity to schedule and participate in the first Nevada State Tea Party Conference. I'd suggest the Ormsby House, since it's centrally located, and has conference rooms. This will be a perfect opportunity for us all to meet face to face, discuss any concerns,

I realize this can be very costly, and not all of us can spare the money or the time. However, that is why I am suggesting this so far in advance, so we can work together towards a way to achieve these goals. I also am aware that there are some Tea Party groups in this State who consider themselves as rivals due to their national organization affiliation, or the petty bickering that comes with being human. 2014, and indeed freedom in general, is far too important for any of us to stand alone on issues or differences that must be resolved in order to save our State, and our Country. I grew up in Nevada, graduated from Carson City High School in 1986, I still have family all over this State, and I myself have lived all over this State. I love Nevada and I hate what has been happening to it politically. I am reaching out to you all now, in the spirit of cooperation and communication, to implore you all to help me, work with me, and do all we can, together, to preserve freedom.

To further the idea of sharing our information on one website, some of you may know, that I created a nationwide network of websites to do just this. These sites are strictly for the purpose of sharing event and other pertinent legislative information, not to glorify or support any one Tea Party group or national organization. The idea behind these sites is mainly to be a hub of information, a simple place where the general public can find as much Tea Party information as is possible in on simple and easy to find location. When I started this, I was advised by my tax preparer to create an LLC, and operate it as a corporation, to protect myself from law suits should anyone decide to do that, and to protect the tax status of all the other groups who use this site. Since then, however, it has become apparent that having an LLC only gives ppl a reason to suspect me of something nefarious. I have decided to allow the LLC to dissolve, and just let the sites exist. This decision leaves me open to law suits, and also leaves the websites vulnerable to infringement, nor can I copyright the name. This will be an issue in the future when we become notable enough to be a trusted name in the Tea Party community. However, to assuage the fears of those who would use it, I'd rather let the LLC go. That is something we can raise again in the future. If you are interested in seeing this network, go to http://www.usteapartyunited.org . You will find a list of sites on the left of all the sub sites that were created for each State. I have had to delete some of the State pages that were recently hacked, but you can go to the Nevada page at http://www.nv.usteapartyunited.org to see a good example of how it is designed to work. The calendar is bare for now, but scroll back to November of 2011 and you'll see how it was created. This network has always been intended to be run by individuals from every State. If you or someone you know is interested in helping me with this, please let me know, and we'll work on it.

I am sending this email to all the Tea Parties for whom I have contacts. I have reached out to all the Tea Parties at one time or another, but have never heard back from some, so I'm not sure everyone will receive this email. So, if you get this, and you have communication with a Tea Party you think I might not, and you feel it's as important as I do, please pass it along. I don't care about your national organization affiliation or what your party affiliation is, if you're Tea Party, you believe in the Constitution, Free Markets, Limited Government, and Fiscal Responsibility. We need to focus on what we agree upon. That is a start, and enough for me.

LVTP has initiated some exciting programs in the last year on the local level that might benefit your own Tea Party and we'd like to share them with you.
