Heartland Tea Party

The Heartland Tea Party hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal (not made equal by government), that they are endowed by their Creator (not government) with certain unalienable rights (incapable of being repudiated or transferred to government), that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness (not what government thinks happiness is).-That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among (not over) Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.-That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the people to alter or abolish it, and to institute new Government… We must continually defend our life, our liberty and our pursuit of happiness through grassroots activists taking ownership of their neighborhood, town, state and Washington D.C.
