There can be no more effective reminder that the current attempt to legalize 11 million to 20 million illegal aliens is a shameless, calculated and deceptive scam than the rallying cry REMEMBER 1986! Particularly for conservatives. And some Republicans too.

The liberal media seldom begins a news report on another legalization thats not amnesty without stating that the Republican party has taken a second look at its immigration stance since the 2012 election. This in hope that the low-information and obedient GOP-bot voter will succumb to the endless false assertions that if granted citizenship, then grateful, low-wage, entitlement-dependent workers would vote for low-tax, small-government Republican candidates. That is, if any of these vanishing conservative creatures were then able to make it out of a primary election.

The announced goals of the Republican establishment for another legalization are to capture the Hispanic vote and to "solve immigration forever."

So, lets make it clear. Again. In 1988, just two years after the Republican establishment actually delivered the "one-time" amnesty ("well never have to do it again "), GOP presidential candidate George H.W. Bush lost the Latino vote by 39 points. The all-time modern record harvest was Texan George W. Bush (R), who promised amnesty in his 2004 re-election campaign and got about 40 percent of the Hispanic vote.

In 2008, Republican John McCain got 31 percent of the Latino vote despite his desperate foreign-language radio campaign promise of legalization "on day one."

The record low was Bob Dole at 21 percent in 1996 against incumbent Bill Clinton, who had just implemented landmark, effective border-fence measures in San Diego, an action that sparked wild outrage in the illegal alien lobby. But Democrat Clinton still won. In a landslide. With 72 percent of the Hispanic vote.

Dont like the legal and accurate term illegal alien? Undocumented Democrat is just as descriptive and accurate.

By 2000, according to what was then known as the Immigration and Naturalization Service, the legalization of 1986 only served to increase illegal immigration. Golly! Why? Because rewarding any action creates more of the same. And because the false promises of future border security, future enforcement of temporary visa holder departures and future work place enforcement never happened.

The amnesty of 1986 is in large part the reason for the crushing crisis today. Immigration is not "solved." It is managed. And we will never have a workable immigration system until we have a genuine, visible and proven policy of enforcement, including at the workplace.

One of the current "trust us, we mean it this time, no really!" promises on legalization is future mandatory, nationwide implementation of the E-Verify system. In about five years. After legalization. Got that?

Who has been negotiating the terms of the promises including E-Verify necessary to slide another legalization swindle past the American people? One of the "stake-holders" is the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The same people who used their enormous lobbying power to stop E-Verify from being mandatory at its inception. The same Chamber of Commerce that sued multiple times in federal court to stop the requirement that E-Verify be mandatory on federal contracts. The same Chamber of Commerce that went all the way to the Supreme Court trying to stop the E-Verify mandate in Arizona.

The border is not secure. "Weve seen the number of illegal aliens (crossing) double, maybe even triple since amnesty talk started happening," an irate Border Patrol agent told Townhall last month.

Right now, the most visible "its not amnesty conspirators in the U.S. Senate include New York Democrat Chuck Schumer, a member of what is called the "Gang of Eight." Schumer delivered the gangsters' promise on "Meet the Press" earlier this month: "Weve come to a basic agreement, which is that first, people will be legalized. In other words, not citizens, but theyll be allowed to work, come out of the shadows, travel. Then, we will make sure the border is secure" he said. With a straight face. Office pool anyone? Awarded "probationary-we-arent-illegal-anymore" status, how many days would elapse before the now legalized victims of geography would restart the angry rallies demanding "CITIZENSHIP NOW!" while holding up "PROBATIONARY STATUS IS RACIST!" signs?

And how long before the ACLU and La Raza would file a lawsuit for "citizenship processing discrimination?"

The American people last put down an amnesty attempt in 2007. Ask yourself: If they were at all sincere, why didnt the same people who were selling legalization then dedicate themselves to making the promises become reality before the 2013 legalization promise campaign?

Remember 1986.

Convince the Georgia House to either kill SB 160 or to improve it to read like HB 125. SB 160 is poorly written and before an emergency floor amendment, originally would have gutted Georgia's 2011 E-Verify law. It was the leadership and energy of Senator John Albers that saved the day on that mistake. THANK YOU SENATOR ALBERS!

Both bills are aimed at improving the process of administrating Public Benefits in Georgia.

HB 125 not only does that, butimproves the famous state illegal immigration bill of 2011 (HB 87) and also stops the official acceptance of "undocumented passports" as a way for illegal aliens to make themselves appear to be lawfully present. HB 125 also tightens Georgia Drivers License rules to insure that coveted document remains secure and verifiable.

Undocumented passports are foreign passports that illegal aliens obtain after they enter our nation illegally. These passports cannot and do not contain the visas and stamps issued to individuals who came legally. A non-citizen cannot obtain a Georgia drivers license with an undocumented passport, but the undocumented passport is currently accepted and a "Secure and Verifiable" ID document.

In our Republican controlled state, HB125 passed the House by a huge margin. It must now be passed intact by the Ga Senate before the end of session. The ACLU and the ethnic hustlers at GALEO and other un-American, open borders groups are already calling to try to intimidate Republican Ga Senators. The radical ACLU Obama voters plan on swarming the Capitol on Tuesdayto lobby against HB 125. Again: They are calling your legislature right now!Don't let them win!

Since taking office in 2010, Florida Senator Marco Rubio has made an about-face on his once steadfast opposition to amnesty. In fact, prior to being elected, Senator Rubio campaigned on the proposition that an, "Earned path to citizenship is basically code for amnesty," and criticized the 1986 amnesty law.

Now—barely two years after taking office—Senator Rubio is articulating his support for a plan to grant amnesty to the estimated 11-12 million illegal aliens in the country. Promoting this amnesty plan on the Senate floor and on media outlets all over the U.S., Senator Rubio is now saying that Congress must find "a way to accommodate" illegal aliens and is touting a plan that would allow them "the access to make their status at this moment legal."

Of particular mention, we must examine the record of those who profess themselves to be conservative Republicans, and determine if they have STOOD THEIR GROUND in DEFIANCE of these illegal and unconstitutional acts, or caved in to the demands of this administration to further encroach upon and usurp our rights; and if it be determined they have not stood their ground in defense of the sacred trust committed to their keeping, THEY MUST, of NECESSITY, ALSO BE RESPLACED.

I am advocating for the election of individuals committed to supporting and defending the principles and the sacred confidence originally vested by our forefathers in the federal government: individuals who will engage in a strong, determined, yet peaceable means of restoring our government to its proper place of strength in matters foreign and domestic.

Of grave importance, they must immediately begin to create a stable environment aimed at alleviating the fears of the electorate who have begun to question the government’s loyalty to uphold the sacred fiduciary trust delegated to it by the people.

It is reported that our government is preparing the military and police for a national revolt. If this is true, I submit that the fear and apprehension within the hearts of Americans losing hope of a bright and successful future for themselves and their children is well documented by the administration. Otherwise, why the preparation? But should a government wary of revolt prepare to kill its own citizens instead of making the changes necessary to promote the peace and general welfare of its citizens? Is our government going to mimic the insufferable tragedies upon us that King Assad of Syria, is waging against his own people -choosing to kill his own people rather than give way to progressive change? Is this the future we envision for ourselves and our loved ones?

Revolution may be at our doorsteps, but do we welcome it? Do we support an uprising that will devastate our nation and bring death and misery to its citizens; or do we make every attempt to deter violence and put the people at rest? We must breathe the fresh air of a legitimate hope and change policy in an attempt to restore the hope that our government will be restored. That our policies will bring about economic recovery and stability, a definite increase in employment opportunities, lower taxes, and establishing the bond of unity between a people that have been so divided against each other. This is the only way that I know of to avoid the much anticipated bloodshed.

Once again, the weight and burden is upon us, the people, to vote the opportunists out of office and to vote those among us into office who share our core values and virtues, and who desire the blessings of God upon our nation and our children to the third and fourth generations of those who believe in Him.
I have presented a peaceable plan of action that will not advance the violence the government is anticipating. As Congressman Paul Ryan was known to say many times, “WE CAN DO THIS!”

A major portion of this text was taken from a speech I gave before a Republican assembly when I ran for Congress in 1986. It was a message out of time, and will undoubtedly have a far greater influence if I were to give it today. Nevertheless, it is a positive message, and while we may make certain statements to point out the actions of those in government, we must refrain from using names and deliberate personal attacks. This is what we all desire, “Tell me what YOU are going to do to make a difference – We already know what the other isn’t doing, or DID!”

I would be more than honored to see the essence of this message being proclaimed by every candidate running for office in 2014, because I believe this message is timely, impossible to contradict or successfully dispute, and I am convinced if it is included in the platform of the New Revitalized Republican Party, the true Party of the People, it will result in many victories for Conservative Christians, Friends of Israel, and people of virtue of all faiths. If called upon, I would be honored to present this message personally before the citizens of your communities. But, it is far more important, of grave importance, to get this message into the hands of those who would be faithful candidates and elected officials for federal office in 2014. If you believe this is the message for today, then spread the word as quickly and with as much energy as you possess. Let this be our charge, the conviction of our hearts, “We must have the majority in the Senate and in the House!”

The administration has fired the starter’s pistol and the runners are taking to the field. President Bush and Congress boosted manpower and technology on the border, and the number of apprehensions — and, presumably, illegal crossings — dropped dramatically.

In fiscal year 2005 the Border Patrol made 1,1717,396 arrests along the southwest border; it made 1,071,972 arrests in 2006; 858,638 arrests in 2007; 705,005 arrests in 2008; 540,865 in 2009; 447,731 in 2010; and 327,577 in 2011.

A Government Accountability Office report earlier this month detailed some of the Border Patrol’s internal calculations about how many illegal crossers it misses, and the report said about 40 percent of would-be illegal immigrants get away. That rate has held consistent over time.

But Glenn Spencer, head of American Border Patrol, a private citizens group that tracks border crossings, said according to their own estimates, the Border Patrol only catches about 30 percent of illegal crossers.

If true, that would mean more than 800,000 illegal immigrants crossed without being apprehended last year.

Border numbers rise ahead of talks on immigration

Here is an excerpt from this news report:

"The good news is that — for the first time in many years — Republicans and Democrats seem ready to tackle this problem together," Mr. Obama said, blessing the broad outlines of the senators' deal and saying the borders are secure enough to begin granting illegal immigrants citizenship.

But the latest numbers suggest that illegal crossings from the Mexican border once again may be on the rise after falling for six years. The U.S. Border Patrol made 356,873 arrests on the border in fiscal year 2012, up 9 percent from 2011.

December 21, 2011, when I appeared on Neil Cavuto’s television program to discuss immigration and the impact on jobs, Neil made the assertion that because Border Patrol arrest statistics had dropped that it meant that there were fewer illegal aliens in the United States. He suggested that this was happening because purportedly the Mexican economy was doing better and the American economy was doing worse.

I responded by saying that attempting to figure out how many illegal aliens are present in the United States by tracking Border Patrol arrest statistics was a bit like taking attendance by asking those present to raise their hands!

So now, notwithstanding all sorts of efforts to “cook the books” and provide misleading arrest statistics to bolster arguments that the borders are now secure and the immigration problem has been solved, the number of arrests are rising because the number of illegal aliens flooding across our borders are surging.

Furthermore, no one in Washington is talking about the fact that there are at least 5 million illegal aliens present in the United States who, although they were admitted into the United States via the inspections process, went on to violate the terms of their admission rendering them deportable as well.

In point of fact, the United States does not have just “four border states” but 50 border states! Any state that has an international airport or a seaport is as much a border state as are those to be found along both the southern and northern borders of the United States!

Before moving on to other issues, I am providing a segment, immediately below, of the transcript of this hearing which reflects my opening remarks for that hearing and an exchange I had with members of Congress who participated at that hearing- I think it may help to provide some additional insight. You should also know that at the time of the hearing the citizens of 26 countries were not required to apply for and receive visas before seeking entry into the United States under the auspices of the wrong-headed Visa Waiver Program. (6) Write Editorials in local news papers.
(7) Remind people by word of mouth that Amnesty for 12-20 Million ( Mainly Mexican) illegals means hey can BRING IN 30-45 MILLION of their relatives.
(8) Call talk radio stations including stations that support illegal immigration. Let EVERY AMERICAN UNDERSTAND that The Dream Act is a BACK DOOR TROJAN AMNESTY designed to let criminal illegal immigrants USE their children ( up to young adults ) to bring in 30-45 Million of their relatives who are here and in Mexico.
(9) Be the expert. Google Mexican Reconquista. Google Mexican Aztlan. Study illegal immigration and tell people, family, friends the true dangers of illegal immigration.
(10) Make leaflets to expose Illegal Immigration for what it is. Then go to kinkos, staples and copy them cheap... hen drop them off in doors, on cars, etc etc etc...

Tell the new Congress that amnesty is wrong for America!

We have our work cut out for us this year. Pro-amnesty groups have seized upon the election results to announce they will pour massive resources into an effort to pass an amnesty.

But we have been here before. The Bush administration, the Democratic leadership, the Chamber of Commerce, and the open-border advocates joined forces, but we previously foiled their repeated efforts to pass another amnesty. It will not be easy, but with the help of committed activists, we can prevail again.

We've reached the end of a very busy year that saw many important developments in immigration policy. FAIR has put together the highlights of immigration news during 2012 and some analysis of what these events will mean as we look ahead to 2013.
The election dominated this year's news cycle. Immigration only came up once in the presidential debates, but the fact that the issue was barely discussed has not stopped both political parties and the media from pegging immigration as one of the deciding factors in the outcome of the 2012 election.

Meanwhile, Congress continued to sit on its hands while President Obama unilaterally enacted a sweeping amnesty program for young illegal aliens. And, states continue to be an immigration battleground.

The Election

Republicans and Democrats buy into myth that Latino voters' position on immigration decided the election. Latinos did vote overwhelmingly for the president, however numerous polls show the economy, health care, jobs and education top Latinos' list of most important issues. In fact, in almost every poll, immigration ranked far down the list of concerns for Latino voters.
Governor Mitt Romney's poorly-articulated and waffling immigration stance blamed for election loss. Campaign advisors and Republican leadership are attempting to scapegoat Romney's immigration enforcement statements during the primary for his poor showing among Latino voters, ignoring countless other, more important, factors.
President Obama claims his win is a mandate for mass amnesty. Even before the election, Obama told Latino voters he would owe them amnesty should he win, even though it is not what voters really want him to focus on during his second term.
Obama Administration

President unilaterally enacts amnesty for illegal aliens under 31 years old who meet minimal - and ever-changing - requiremeements. 1.7 million illegal aliens are expected to be eligible for deferred action status and work authorization. As of mid-December, 367,903 applications had been received and with 102,965 approved.
Lack of transparency continues. Questions from members of Congress regarding the implementation of Obama's amnesty, among other immigration concerns, remain unanswered.
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) continues to roll back enforcement by ending cooperation agreements with state and local law enforcement and promoting misinformation regarding border security. The Department refuses to confront jurisdictions that do not cooperate with federal authorities to remove criminal aliens. And, despite having no viable metrics, DHS claims the border is more secure than ever.
Congress

President Obama's executive amnesty decree ended any potential DREAM Act legislation in Congress. In turn, Congress did little to challenge the President's usurpation of its constitutional authority to regulate immigration.
Meaningful discussion about massive legal immigration remains off the table. Rather than tackle the underlying issues of our failed immigration system or acknowledge that our policy of family chain migration already admits more than 1 million legal permanent residents a year - regardless of skills - leaders in both parties advocate for more visas and looser requirements.
Like Obama and Romney, Members of Congress fail to connect our failed immigration policies with unemployment and a waning economy. Common sense reforms like national E-Verify remained stalled, while Congress silently watched the Administration begin issuing work authorization to potentially 1.7 million illegal aliens under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
The States

States and local jurisdictions refuse to cooperate with federal officials in holding criminal aliens. California Governor Jerry Brown vetoed a bill that would've allowed California law enforcement to ignore most federal requests to hold criminal aliens. Cook County, Illinois, and other local jurisdictions abandoned cooperation with immigration authorities. ICE has yet to stop them.
Efforts to weaken state immigration enforcement laws have failed. Alabama's law, HB 56, was strengthened after revisions in May and the Supreme Court's mixed decision on Arizona's SB 1070 has allowed other states' enforcement provisions to go into effect.
President Obama's executive DREAM Act amnesty is leading to confusion at the state level. States are left with the decision of how to handle amnesty recipients' access to benefits and identification. Result: a true "patchwork" of immigration laws that is inconsistent with federal laws and lacks any precedent.
What to Expect in 2013

Democrats and the White House - along with the open borders lobby - will push a massive amnesty bill.>
Republicans will look for an opportunity to take immigration off the table. Party leaders have perpetuated the myth that they'll only win the White House if they embrace amnesty and continue to meet businesses' demands for cheap foreign labor.
Proposals from both sides will ignore the effects of mass legal immigration and amnesty on 22 million unemployed and underemployed Americans - and entitlement spending.
The Administration will continue its executive amnesty for young illegal aliens while dismantling federal cooperation with state and local law enforcement.

Senior leadership in the GOP, including the Speaker of the U.S. House is preparing to push for a repeat of the illegal alien amnesty of 1986.
The media is doing a great job of not sounding too many alarm bells, and "conservative" talk radio and pundits are in on it this time. I am not making this up. On Monday, the GOP was officially pro-enforcement. By Wednesday, almost at exactly the same instant, the exact same talking points came from almost everywhere that it was "time to solve immigration" with another amnesty AND path to citizenship.
"Conservative" Sean Hannity came out for amnesty and a path to citizenship on the air yesterday. So did Neal Boortz (absolutely zero surprise with Boortz - he wouldn't even let me on the air to rebut his uneducated rants on "legalization now", as I type, he is talking about evolution and bashing Christians). "In his run for re-election in 1984, Ronald Reagan promised legalization. And got 37 percent of the Hispanic vote. In 1988, just two years after the GOP delivered amnesty, Republican presidential candidate George H.W. Bush lost the Latino vote by 39 points. Even the super-Hispandering GOP Texan George W. Bush, who promised amnesty in his 2004 re-election campaign, got less than 40 percent of the Hispanic vote. Republican John McCain got 31 percent of the Latino vote despite his promise of amnesty "on day one" in 2008.
The record low was Bob Dole at 21 percent in 1996 against incumbent Bill Clinton, who had just implemented landmark, meaningful enforcement with "Operation Gatekeeper," a massive project announced in 1994 "to restore integrity and safety to the nation's busiest border" that secured the American/Mexican border in San Diego. Pro-enforcement Democrat Clinton won in a landslide with 72 percent of the Hispanic vote.
Documenting millions of resentful undocumented Democrats is a crack-pot method to elect a Republican president."
In a hope to remain in Washington DC at taxpayer expense, Republican's in Congress are being told to toe the line on another amnesty.
So far today, I have spoken to US Senator Johnny Isakson's office, Congressman Tom Price's office also the press people and staff at and Ga Congressmen Tom Graves office and sent questions to Senator Chambliss office. NO ONE IN ANY OF THE OFFICES I HAVE DEALT WITH TODAY EVEN HAS AN OFFICIAL POSITION ON THE LATEST GOP SELL-OUT ON AMENSTY!
We need to get this info out, because the press will hide this sell-out scandal under the "fiscal cliff" issue, so as not to wake up too many angry pro-enforcement Americans in 2007.

ACTION NEEDED Here is what we are asking from you today, Monday and early next week: Please continually call, email or even fax the questions listed below to both of Georgia's U.S. Senators and your own Ga. Congressman. If you ignore this until late next week, it will signal to the politicians that you are either too tired to fight back, unconcerned or not paying attention. Demand answers and don't be afraid to make your voice heard. There is another election in two years, and they are assuming you are completely exhausted from the long, failed campaign and will forget about this betrayal by then.
