Petitions at White House websites are meaning less and are largely a fools errand. The White House (Including the President) has no authority to honor any petition filed. Laws are not made by the executive branch despite what BHO thinks.

We now know that the event in Stamford will be at 6:30 PM at the Marriott on Tresser Blvd. That means we need to be in place I would say at least by 5pm, Bob McGuffie at Right Principals is trying to see what numbers we can muster.

Save the date, we need to be ready for a BIG Tea Party in Stamford (and possibly Westport) on August 6. I don’t know times yet, but would expect Stamford to be Early Evening and Westport to be Lunch time or Early Afternoon.
