Christian Patriots – Black Robe Brigade
Tea Party movement founded in the belief that “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
We believe in freedom through limited Government but believe our rights to be free are given from God as written by our founding fathers.
David Barton of Wall Builders does a great job explaining that the earliest Patriots were pastors leading their congregations to battle the British invasion. Because the went from the pulpit where they wore black robes to the battle field, these early and courageous patriots became known as the Black Robe Brigade .
