It amazes me how quickly politicians can change when they get to DC. We have never in my life time had a senator from WV who wasn’t in DC to play the game. We need strong candidates to challenge these lifers and we have to be able to do it with strong grass roots efforts because they all have huge war chests.

Rockefeller is retiring. He saw the writing on the wall. I think Shelly should win easily. The question then becomes who takes Shelly’s seat?
