Not in Wisconsin although I wish I was, especially Madison. The closer the election the more the excitement and action. It was a good experience.

What is a much better plan is eliminating monopolies. The government is the biggest monopolizer. A new age would be a revitalization of capitalism that which would take back from the government its monopolies in education. A new era would evolve in education with this move based on what made America great i.e. capitalism. This also should be considered in areas of insurance as they have monopolized access to the medical industry although not as direct. If government wants to equalize then remove the monopolies and they themselves are the biggest offenders. We need a breath of fresh area and optimism. It seems pessimism is setting in similar to that found in many other countries we were known as optimists.

Public servants given free reign will spend us into a third World country. Look around the World it is already there for many and not far off for us. This is the drive towards Socialism. I have lived in post socialistic countries and it is obvious socialism comes easily but extremely hard to remove; just look at the Russia and the places it spun off. Many times our government servants are just padding their lifestyles. Notice I use government servants as they seem to have lost this term recently. Look at Whitney passing a 25+ million dollar school bond! wow! with education simply broken it is time to end public school as no matter how much you give them they slid further down. It is not the implementation of the system that is the problem it is the system itself. Constantly pouring more money into a broken system like repaving a road on top of a broken bridge where the bridge keeps breaking the road. The solution is simple but painful. SImply put the money into an account and let the parents choose a private industry school. Capitalism will spin quanity and quality in an upward motion. It would be refreshing for them to enter the private sector. Self esteem would rise. Quality teachers will get higher pay and their industry will regain its respect. The system that made us great would be put back in place. Government should be minimal.

The experience was great. The people were great. The cause was to stop special interest groups from taking over the government. In short a recall of an elected official should not be initiated by special interest groups with large sums of money. This recall costs in excess of 15 million dollars. It requires people to vote twice and the special interests believe they can win with the majority setting back and not voting. This would amount to approximately 13% percent of the population ruling the other 87%. Walker is doing a good job there is no doubt about it. In short there are a few in government and in the unions who believe the rest should suffer but they should not.
