Anthony Mucciolo posted an update in the group 13th Colony Patriots For those who hold out hope for real change, this will be well worth your reading, and sharing. We need a New Revitalized Republican Party, and every conservative and libertarian who aspire to run for the Congress and the Senate in 2014 will most likely defeat their counterparts if they include all or most of these positions in their platform. The people want us to run a positive campaign – telling them what we stand for, and what we will do to change the future of America – rather than lambasting our opponents. WE are a people desirous of a limited federal government, but we need a definitive plan: For example, what is our “Plan for reducing the tax burden?” We can advance a plan advocating these first 5 positions:

1. financial responsibility and accountability insuring that all investments made with tax payer funds be examined and decided on the basis of a sound business plan, adequate capital investment of its partners and stock holders, and the expectation of long-term success; and further, that all profits, interest, earnings on property and securities from whatsoever source are proportioned back to the states and the taxpayers;

2. demanding and receiving from all nations to whom we provide security, payment for the expenses incurred by our government and its taxpayers to furnish them with our military personnel, equipment, ordinance, and safe quarters while on their lands; and to further insure the paid medical care of all wounded in action both short term and permanent, coupled with a sustainable monthly allowance to support their families, and paying a delegated amount to the families of all killed in action, or as a result of being stationed on their land;

3. imposing work demands upon all prisoners sentenced to incarceration for more than 90 days, to provide for their detention expenses, daily necessities, and to provide for the welfare of their dependents; actions that will greatly diminish the tax burden on the American people;

4. taxation on the purchase and consumption of goods rather than personal or business incomes, a principle supported by Alexander Hamilton in the 14th Federalist paper;

5. eliminate the Department of Education and restore to the states their proper right to exercise full oversight and controls over the education and curricula of all educational institutions within its jurisdictions;

6. restoration of religious expressions and practice without hindrance;

7. the right to bear arms in every city and state in the union for our self protection without unnecessary restraint and limitation, for the purpose of securing our persons and property from both foreign and domestic terrorism and threats; excepting only the right to disarm those who are, or become, members of known and recognized terrorist groups and gangs;

8. the security as before provided for all generations in the Bill of Rights, and a government transparent to, and accountable to, the people and Congress of the United States.

9. that all laws, regulations, taxes, and restrictions imposed on the citizens must be equally obligatory and enforceable on every member and employee of the federal government and its assigns without exception.

These policy positions are firmly embodied in the duties, obligations, and responsibilities inherent in the laws of fiduciary responsibility and trusteeship which was made incumbent upon the federal government when our forefathers “vested” certain cherished financial trusts, invaluable sovereign and sacred rights, and other “treasures” of great value to the states, they placed under its protections; whose duty it is to protect, defend, and secure these certain and valued rights and trusts committed to them and enumerated in the document we refer to as the Constitution of the United States.

Therefore, I submit to the peace-loving people of this district, and this state that no one entrenched in the foxholes of government domination is going to “give back” the rights they have usurped for their own enrichment. IT BECOMES THEREFORE, ENCUMBENT UPON US, the Common People, TO REPLACE those in the Congress and Senate who have not left their secure foxholes, have not condemned the usurpation of the people’s rights and liberties, have not attempted to restrain the appropriation of additional powers from the states, and have not taken steps to limit the powers of the government, nor have begun to initiate action to restore our sacred rights, even those who have enriched themselves at the expense of the governed.
Of particular mention, we must examine the record of those who profess themselves to be conservative Republicans, and determine if they have STOOD THEIR GROUND in DEFIANCE of these illegal and unconstitutional acts, or caved in to the demands of this administration to further encroach upon and usurp our rights; and if it be determined they have not stood their ground in defense of the sacred trust committed to their keeping, THEY MUST, of NECESSITY, ALSO BE RESPLACED.

I am advocating for the election of individuals committed to supporting and defending the principles and the sacred confidence originally vested by our forefathers in the federal government: individuals who will engage in a strong, determined, yet peaceable means of restoring our government to its proper place of strength in matters foreign and domestic.

Of grave importance, they must immediately begin to create a stable environment aimed at alleviating the fears of the electorate who have begun to question the government’s loyalty to uphold the sacred fiduciary trust delegated to it by the people.

It is reported that our government is preparing the military and police for a national revolt. If this is true, I submit that the fear and apprehension within the hearts of Americans losing hope of a bright and successful future for themselves and their children is well documented by the administration. Otherwise, why the preparation? But should a government wary of revolt prepare to kill its own citizens instead of making the changes necessary to promote the peace and general welfare of its citizens? Is our government going to mimic the insufferable tragedies upon us that King Assad of Syria, is waging against his own people -choosing to kill his own people rather than give way to progressive change? Is this the future we envision for ourselves and our loved ones?

Revolution may be at our doorsteps, but do we welcome it? Do we support an uprising that will devastate our nation and bring death and misery to its citizens; or do we make every attempt to deter violence and put the people at rest? We must breathe the fresh air of a legitimate hope and change policy in an attempt to restore the hope that our government will be restored. That our policies will bring about economic recovery and stability, a definite increase in employment opportunities, lower taxes, and establishing the bond of unity between a people that have been so divided against each other. This is the only way that I know of to avoid the much anticipated bloodshed.

Once again, the weight and burden is upon us, the people, to vote the opportunists out of office and to vote those among us into office who share our core values and virtues, and who desire the blessings of God upon our nation and our children to the third and fourth generations of those who believe in Him.
I have presented a peaceable plan of action that will not advance the violence the government is anticipating. As Congressman Paul Ryan was known to say many times, “WE CAN DO THIS!”

A major portion of this text was taken from a speech I gave before a Republican assembly when I ran for Congress in 1986. It was a message out of time, and will undoubtedly have a far greater influence if I were to give it today. Nevertheless, it is a positive message, and while we may make certain statements to point out the actions of those in government, we must refrain from using names and deliberate personal attacks. This is what we all desire, “Tell me what YOU are going to do to make a difference – We already know what the other isn’t doing, or DID!”

I would be more than honored to see the essence of this message being proclaimed by every candidate running for office in 2014, because I believe this message is timely, impossible to contradict or successfully dispute, and I am convinced if it is included in the platform of the New Revitalized Republican Party, the true Party of the People, it will result in many victories for Conservative Christians, Friends of Israel, and people of virtue of all faiths. If called upon, I would be honored to present this message personally before the citizens of your communities. But, it is far more important, of grave importance, to get this message into the hands of those who would be faithful candidates and elected officials for federal office in 2014. If you believe this is the message for today, then spread the word as quickly and with as much energy as you possess. Let this be our charge, the conviction of our hearts, “We must have the majority in the Senate and in the House!”

Thank you and God bless all your efforts and successes.

Rev. Anthony Mucciolo

Veteran Patriot posted an update in the group 13th Colony Patriots With the four remaining Republican presidential candidates, all worthy in their own right, there’s only one way we can succeed. This must be a team effort so they must lay aside any personal aspirations and unite in full accord and support around the one most seasoned in the “belly of the beast” experience and knowledge to profoundly challenge Obama and all his liberal left policies on every issue, whether it be economic, national defense, foreign relations, constitutional or social, including his flagrant onslaught of attacks on our First Amendment religious freedoms.

They all want to do that and each candidate has a unique portfolio of experience and exceptionalism. But unfortunately, each candidate has his own level of pride and personal ambition. The most repulsive evidence of this part of their character has been their relentless onslaught of smear campaign ads composed of twisted, distorted, half truth deceptive slurs against one another designed to make them selves look better by the slandering of the other! How ugly! How destructive!

Just because one candidate may have more money that enables them to engage more powerfully in this kind of campaign strategy, does not justify their attitude in that regard. It seems that no matter how much we hear that all the electorate wants to hear is a clearly articulated plan of attack on all fronts that will get us back on the right track, that’s being for the most part ignored and the electorate is left wanting. The only priority in every candidate’s war chest must be, what is best for my country, not anything to do with “me, me, me, I’m the best.” The best is that one candidate who has overall the most dynamic record of getting things done on the national level, working with all branches of government, because whether we like it or not that is what it’s going to take to rebuild the America we love.

In my observation on all the strategies and attitudes of the candidates, there is only one that measures up to all the above standards in the most meaningful manner. I have nothing to gain personally, except that we the people succeed in restoring all we’ve lost under the current Obama, Reid, Pelosi, administration. In my objective view, there is only one candidate with that resume and portfolio, and that is Newt Gingrich, because he with us, want we the people to succeed, not he himself. That’s why he consistently says, “My strategy is not a Gingrich campaign, but an American campaign. It’s not about how “I” can win, but only about how you the people can win. Together we can.”

So my fellow patriots, let us make sure we win, and there’s only one way we can, and that is to elect Newt Gingrich as the 45th President of the United States of America. It’s not him claiming anything, it’s only his desire to serve ‘we the people’ with his acknowledgement that only together, we can!

Veteran Patriot posted an update in the group 13th Colony Patriots URGENT! Please read all of this or we may lose! Do we want to win, or do we just want to play games. As long as we keep fighting over which of the candidates is most acceptable in our individual points of view to best carry the banner of our mission and core values, our voice is being muffled. All across our country, most of the liberal media pundits are mockingly filling the airwaves with scurrilous commentary about how the Tea Party coalition is too fragmented, has no collective purpose or clearly defined mission, and is no more as effective as they would want us to think, so they probably won’t be as effective as they once were. It’s time for that to change and for our collective voice be heard! So listen up!

In reference to the National Tea Party Patriots mission statements: fiscal responsibility; constitutionally limited government; free markets; what is the ultimate goal? Is it not to discover, endorse, and support that individual who best represents those objectives? Let’s be real! Are there any candidates that can be defined as “perfect” in the view of every one of us in the Tea Party Coalition, who all have differing interpretations as to how to best fulfill our mission? And that is perfectly legitimate. So again, what is the ultimate goal? We should unite to endorse and support that one or those that most closely embrace our mission, because if we don’t, our voting voice will be diluted and those who do not best embrace our core values will win by default. In light of this reality, my suggestion is that the one Presidential candidate that most closely embraces all the core values and principles of the Tea Party mission is Newt Gingrich.

Why do I say this? First of all, I respect all those with different views because I believe they are sincere in their review of each candidate’s policies and positions. So I just want to suggest that with all the twisted and distorted half truth innuendos and allegations being thrown around, all the talking points, all the sound bites in all the negative ad campaigns, the picture has been muddied and hard to decipher. With that in mind, let us look closely at Newt’s past record and performance which has always been in strong support of those issues having to do with our core values. He doesn’t have to invent himself all over again!

I’m an old Navy Veteran of both Korea and Vietnam, and I’ve followed Newt for years. I was there back in the 90’s when he was relentlessly attacked with an onslaught of malicious trumped up ethics charges by the liberal left Democratic members of Congress, including Nancy Pelosi, who were hell bent on destroying him because of the successes he and the newly acquired house majority under his leadership were having in regards to our fiscal and free enterprise policies. They couldn’t allow him to continue because they knew the nation would move more and more to the Republican side with his Contract with America ideals, and they would lose power. Even so, during that time under Newt’s leadership working with then President Clinton, the House enacted major welfare reform, passed a capital gains tax cut in 1997, and in 1998 passed the first balanced budget since 1969, followed by three more.

I also know because of all the mudslinging they were doing, backed by the even then liberal left media machine, many of his fellow congressmen were being negatively impacted in their individual congressional districts. Even though all the malicious ethics charges were finally found to be without grounds and dismissed, a lot of resentment lingered, even up to our present day. That’s why the “establishment” has come out so strong against Newt in his present presidential nominee campaign, because they’ve never let it go.

In respect to Newt’s “resigning in disgrace,” to bring a respectful end to the lingering effect that controversy had in the loss of Republican seats in the House, at the time of his voluntary resignation in January 1997 Gingrich said "I did not manage my defense intensely enough to thoroughly direct or review information being submitted to the committee on my behalf. As a result, in my name and over my signature, inaccurate, incomplete and unreliable statements were given to the committee, but I did not intend to mislead the committee." He also apologized, saying "I brought down on the people's house a controversy which could weaken the faith people have in their government." He even paid a $300,000 reimbursement fee to cover House legal fees incurred. So he did not resign in disgrace, but in respect for his fellow congressmen.

Reviewing all the proposals and actions articulated by the remaining GOP candidates, only Newt has been true to every facet of our goal to restore the America we love. The others are good men in their own way, but none have put forth any ideas of their own. Every proposal they present is nothing more than their own version of something Newt has already suggested, but not with the clarity or boldness expressed by Newt. In fact, virtually every proposal they expressed at the CPAC had been published by Newt on his newt.org website before our present primary campaign even began. The factors boldly embraced by Newt are all encompassing of every requirement there is for regaining the social, political, economic, foreign relations, and moral exceptionalism we are now losing with Obama, but which under a Newt Gingrich administration can once again make us the Shining City on the Hill for the whole world to behold.

From all we have heard from the media pundits and the Democratic operatives, we’ve been led to believe that Mitt or Rick have more electability, and in light of most current polling data they must feel pretty good, because they’ve done a real good job! That’s what they want us to think because they know that in a one on one confrontation, Obama will be able to chew them up and spit them out in any debate or ad campaign. Newt is the one they really fear, of because they know that Obama cannot counter Newt’s bold expression of truth that he has total knowledge and recall of. Newt will destroy any deceitful argument expressed by Obama and they know it.

So my fellow Tea Party Patriots let’s quit playing around. If we keep looking for the “perfect” candidate, we’ll never find him or her and our time to affect the desired goal will run out. It’s time to let our collective voice be heard in support of Newt, because if we don’t, another may win the nomination who cannot win in the general election against Obama, and the American Exceptionalism Dream will be lost. We lose!

Here, members of each county with a population of at least 80,000 will caucus with their respective voter precincts and will ultimately elect Delegates and Alternates from each precinct to the upcoming County Conventions. If you are interested in helping defeat President Obama and getting Republicans elected to Countywide Offices this is the meeting you need to attend!! See you there!
