Obama has not learned a thing, since taking power.

He governs from a cook book with one recipe: deep fat frying. It matters not if it is french fries, T-bone steak or apple pie, it gets deep fat fried. That means, his solution to all problems is to turn the issue, and the unrestricted power to use someone else's money, over to some elite/technocrat and he/she will spread the wealth in order to fix it. In other words, redistribute the wealth to a favored group that will vote progressive in response - as the saying goes, bribe us with our own money. The money laundering scams involved in the Wisconsin collective barganing confrontation and Solyndra, among others, are instructive.

With respect to "Joe the Plummer," the President displayed his ignorance is by not recognizing that a plumbing contractor spreads the wealth every time he/she buys equipment; pays a salary or rent; invests profits for future economic downturns, etc. He/she also spreads the wealth when he/she invests personal income in the stock market, a home or vacation house, food, etc. The question is not about spreading wealth it is about power vs. rights.

Woodrow Wilson best articulated the Progressive ideology, when he wrote, "Too many citizens have not got beyond the Declaration of Independence." I would add that Wilson would include the Bill of Rights with those things he wanted us to get beyond.

It is the anthropology of organizations that no matter how "perfect" a system of governance is conceived it will eventually be corrupted (as ours has been).

Progressives have caused huge structural problems through their relentless attacks on the Bill of Rights (the legal expression of the Declaration of Independence) and destruction of the Constitutional checks put on legislative, executive and judicial power by the Founders. Thanks (sic) to progressivism all three branches of government are out of control and are in need of structural changes (term limits on the legislative and judicial branches and legally mandated balanced budgets) to bring them back into control. The current crops of republican and democratic establishment politicians, most notably represented by the President and Gov. Romney, are incapable of leading such changes.

I just joined the Tea Party, because I think it is the only political entity that grasps these facts. However, I think it would have been quite interesting and fun had you decided to take over the democrat party rather than the republican. That would have P O'ed them a lot more.

PS: In the mid-1990s, when Al Gore was accusing Speaker, Gingrich and the republicans in Congress of "wanting to turn Robin Hood on his head," he had things backwards as does Barack Obama. One of the "big lies" of the Progressive and socialist movements has been that Robin Hood "took from the rich and give to the poor." Actually, Robin took from a tax happy, intrusive and oppressive government, and gave the money back to the small businessmen and farmers who earned it. Barack Obama is the moral equivalent of Prince John.
