Passion to Action: Zero Funding!

PASSION: The American people have consistently and strongly stood against the President's Health Care Plan from the beginning. Unfortunately, Congress doesn’t seem to have gotten the memo; they are still planning on passing a budget for part of the 2013 fiscal year that fully funds the law. Our goal this week is simple: Keep up the pressure on Congress to stand with the people and hold the line on the health care law. Funding for the law should mean no budget. Period.
The budget vote is set for later this week in the Senate, so we don’t have much time to contact Congress.
ACTION: This week’s action is as simple as it is necessary: Call your Senator as much as you can. A few weeks ago Tea Party Patriots teamed up with Restore America's Voice Foundation (Repeal It Now) to usher over 90,000 combined calls into the US Senate to push Harry Reid to allow a Full Repeal Vote on ObamaCare to come to the floor. That kind of energy and fervor is exactly what we need to tell Congress to start listening to the people instead of the bureaucrats and lobbyists.
The message is as simple as the action: By funding the President’s health care law, Congress is standing against the people. For utter political survival reasons, as well as the more honorable reasons of representing their constituents and their alleged political principles, Members of Congress should not pass a budget that includes a single dollar in funding for the law.
