We'll gather between 1pm and 2pm, with the first speech and start of the march at 2pm. The march will run 2 - 3 miles, with a few stops along the way for inspirational speeches, and end up at the Chicago Federal Reserve Bank.

Please join us for the Chicago Tea Party 9/12 Rally on Sunday, September 12 at 1:00 PM at St. Paul Woods. This will be a family friendly event with plenty of activities and fun for the kids. Bring your lawn chairs and your blankets and enjoy great food, beverages and cold beer. Free admission and free parking.

We will be getting ready for the Threshermen's Reunion Parade. Come and make signs and banners to carry in the parade. We will also design the decorations for the wagon/truck. We will order pizza and have a salad. If you want to bring a snack, drink or dessert to share, feel free! Easy peasy to find us, just go straight east on Reynolds until it deadends, then turn R and go two blocks south. There will be a TEA party sign in the yard. Yard signs and Revolutionary tricorn hats available for purchase at cost, while supplies last.

TIME: 12 Noon – 4:00 p.m.
PLACE: Kay Park –Rt. 24 & Fleming, Watseka IL
The public is invited to share in the festivities such as, a TEA Party Documentary Movie, numerous speakers, music, singing, a family-friendly stand up comedian, children's "American Flag" Face Painting, Refreshments will be sold, and more!
We will be raffling off two patriotic baskets, Watseka’s very own Jo McCord’s Founding Fathers Portraits, and an Army Box Wall Hanging.
There will be printouts on important issues, brochures, U.S. pocket Constitutions, and Founding Fathers Quote Cards, a voter’s registration table for GOTV (Get Out The Vote) project.
A documentary movie on the TEA Party movement will start at 12:00 noon and run until 1:00 p.m. Those who would like to learn the “truth” about the TEA Party movement are welcome to the showing of this movie. Then at 1:00 or shortly after the actual TEA Party will begin.

We allow “Tasteful” signs, However, ZERO tolerance for any racial, profanity, or hateful comments on signs or in the crowd. If is so, the TEA Party will ask that individual to leave the event “Immediately!”
