Join Us on September 12, 2010!
D.C., St. Louis or Sacramento

On September 12, 2010 join Tea Party Patriots for three patriot events in one day!

To make it easier for you to get to an event on September 12, 2010 we are hosting simulaneous nationwide Tea Parties in Washington D.C., St. Louis or Sacramento.

Can TPP Make History Again?

Yes, we can!

September 12 is just 52 days away from the 2010 mid-term elections. Before we head into the final stretch, we need a rally to remember – a rally to energize us, to remind us what we’re fighting for, to meet and befriend each other and draw strength from our shared desire to take our magnificent country back to prosperity and liberty.

A rally to reaffirm our commitment to working for real change based on the three core values of the Tea Party Patriots and three words of action to the politicians: Repeal, Reduce, Restore.

Tea Party Patriots will return to D.C. on 9/12 this year with our coalition partners at FreedomWorks, Institute for Liberty, the Ayn Rand Center, the National Taxpayers Union, and the Patrick Henry Center, but that isn’t all. Two regional cities have been added: Sacramento, CA and St. Louis, MO (still being confirmed).

Local coordinators wanted to add regional locations in the West and Central areas of the country to encourage more participation and keep transportation costs down. It’s all about the grassroots at TPP, so we’re trying to make it happen. The hope is that everyone interested in attending can get to one of three events in a reasonable drive time, or have a chance to buy less expensive air/train/bus tickets.

We need your help in raising the money to stage these events. A big crowd calls for big, professional staging and sound, lots of porta-potties, first aid stations, etc. to be sure everyone has a good (and safe) experience. With your help, we can also raise enough to add simulcasting of the events from these cities.

FAQS

Is Tea Party Patriots the same group that helped organize last year’s 9/12 March?
Yes, Tea Party Patriots is reprising its role this year with our coalition partners at FreedomWorks, Institute for Liberty, the Ayn Rand Center, the National Taxpayers Union, and the Patrick Henry Center.

Why is there a march scheduled for September 11th?
Another coalition of groups independently decided to hold a march on September 11th in DC.  By overwhelming response, local coordinators indicated to us that they believe (as do we) that September 11th is a national day of mourning and remembrance, and an inappropriate and disrespectful day for tea parties, marches or protests.  The events planned for September 11th, 2010 in DC were planned by groups with no affiliation to the 9/12 March on DC, or those who planned it last year.  Any inquiries about their events must be directed to them.

Does it cost anything to attend?
Only your travel and lodging costs; there is no cost to attend the march itself.  However, to produce these three events (Sacramento, CA / St. Louis, MO / Washington, D.C.) will cost between $50,000 and $100,000 per city (depending on attendance).  Together, we will show that the tea party movement is alive and well, all across the country, as we lead up to one of the most important Novembers this country has ever seen.  But we can't do it without your help; you are the tea party movement!   Please consider making a donation to help these events be successful.  Click here to donate to Tea Party Patriots today.

What should I bring with me to the 9/12 March?
Bring lots of water, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, snacks, comfortable shoes, cameras, video recorders. And, of course, bring signs, flags, and banners!
