Joe Wilson (R-SC) was elected to the United States Congress in 2001 and is committed to promoting peace through a strong national defense, decreasing taxes for all Americans, and limiting the size of the federal government.

Steve Lonegan, three-term Mayor of Bogota, NJ, ran in the NJ Republican gubernatorial primary and is current Senior Policy Director of Americans For Prosperity, a Washington, D.C.-based public policy organization.

Michael Johns, a New Jersey-based national leader of the Tea Party movement, is a health care executive and former White House speechwriter to President George H. W. Bush and senior aide to former New Jersey Governor Thomas Kean.

David Webb is a local and syndicated talk show host, co-founder and moderator of the American Forum Series and Black Republican Forum, co-organizer of the New York City Tax Day Tea Party and co-founder of Tea Party 365.

Kevin McCullough is a syndicated radio host, nationally syndicated columnist, and author of The MuscleHead Revolution and The Kind of Man Every Man Should Be.

The bands "Methodical," Accelerators" and "The Undead" will perform live at the event, as will "The Spirit of Liberty Fife and Drum Corps" in period costume.

Refreshments and souvenirs will be available.

NJTeaParty is a non-partisan organization of conservative citizens dedicated to upholding the U.S. Constitution and the principles of personal responsibility, individual liberty, limited government, and free market capitalism. It is owned by, and part of, Morristown Tea Party Org, a federally registered 527 NPO.

The event's venue, Ford Mansion, served as George Washington's winter headquarters in 1779.
