TEA PARTY PATRIOTS: Tea Party Patriots Slam IRS: Targeting 'Still Going On' “The Tea Party Patriots on Tuesday slammed the IRS after a House oversight panel released its report, saying that the agency moved to scrutinize conservative groups by Democrats calling for tighter regulation of nonprofits' political activities. "There is no question that the IRS as an agency, and its leaders individually, directed and implemented a scheme to silence and demoralize tea party groups," said Jenny Beth Martin, co-founder of the Atlanta-based group. "We knew it was going on before Congress and the Treasury inspector general confirmed it. "The truth is that ...

Burwell emailed senior HHS leadership Sunday night asking them to work toward a “culture of increased transparency, ownership, and accountability.” She asked them to meet with their staff and cull good ideas. “I believe strongly that a hallmark of effective leadership and management is instilling a culture of transparency, ownership and accountability,” Burwell ...

It gets worse: VA employees received performance bonuses

The scandal at the Obama administration's Department of Veterans Affairs is getting worse. New revelations[1] show that despite widespread mismanagement, millions of dollars were paid in bonuses to executives at VA hospitals with the worst service. Last week, VA secretary Eric Shinseki announced that Dr. Jeffrey Murawsky, director of VA’s Great Lakes Health Care System, was his pick to be the department's new undersecretary for health. Murawsky’s jurisdiction extended to the Edward Hines VA Hospital in Cook County, Ill. Yet new records obtained through Freedom of Information Act requests show that while VA spent millions on bonuses at Hines in ...

IRS targeting came straight from Washington

New emails[1] obtained by the group Judicial Watch, by way of Freedom of Information Act requests, shine new light on the Internal Revenue Service targeting scandal. Guess what? Officials in the IRS’ national headquarters actively directed and participated in the select targeting of conservative and Tea Party groups for heightened scrutiny. There’s more. Not only was the Washington IRS office involved in the targeting, it was also at least partially politically motivated. The emails reveal[2] that Democratic Sen. Carl Levin, who chairs the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs subcommittee on investigations, pushed the IRS to look ...

A Tribute to Tom Grimes

Six days ago, Tea Party Patriot Tom Grimes passed away after a short illness. Tom, who co-founded the St. Joseph County Tea Party Patriots, was well-known within Indiana and national Tea Party circles for his tremendous efforts towards a freer, more prosperous nation. Tom’s efforts were so effective for the Tea Party that he even received attention from The New York Times in March 2010, after he helped organize 200 people for a trip to Washington, D.C. Tom, who had lost his job in the beginning of 2009, turned to the Tea Party to prevent the federal government from having the kind of power that caused the recent recession ever again. In ...

Well Known Tea Party Patriot Can Use Some Help

Tom Grimes is a well know Tea Party Patriot.  Tom heads the St. Joe County Tea Party Patriots and has organized several highly popular bus trips to Washington DC for Glenn Beck and other rallies.  You may have read about him in the Wall Street Journal after Senator Lugar lost his primary. Tom is now in an induced coma on a ventilator at St. Joe Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, Indiana.  He has some kind of lung infection that is baffling doctors. Unfortunately, most of the last two years that Tom and his wife Sharon were doing the rallies, bus trips,  and patriot meetings, they were foregoing full-time employment. Consequently they ...

Thank You to All Who Contributed to Saving Wisconsin

Last night in Wisconsin we saw history in the making. The special interests and unions were the clear losers in an effort to recall elected officials for keeping their promises. The thing is, the news media is absolutely shocked at the blow out that happened last night. First, we want to recognize some very special people who signed up through our website to contribute their time, their money, and their moral support for the efforts to stop the senseless recalls. Your support clearly had a major impact in what happened last night and we are extremely grateful. Thank you! Next, we want to thank the great patriots in Wisconsin for standing to ...
