Explaining Tea Party values in Virginia and Ohio, by Tea Party Patriots

In Northern Virginia, efforts to Get Out The Vote were very successful yesterday. Tea Party Patriots Mid-Atlantic Regional Support Team Coordinator Diana Reimer worked with Phillip Dennis to hand out factual information on the economy, the deficit, and Medicare. They handed out materials to people getting on the D.C. Metro System, which means information was handed to people of all different political and employment backgrounds. Northern Virginia is a critical state today, so we give a big thanks to Diana and Phillip for their work. In Ohio, Khalid Thomas – also known as the blogger “Conservative Sage” – described how he went from support...

Deal in the district! Let’s make a real deal for once!

Do you like deals?  Well, Congress has a Super Committee working on a super deal for you right now!  As usual, it sounds great.  The problem is, as usual, it’s not that great! The Super Committee has been tasked by Senate Leader Harry Reid and Speaker John Boehner with finding spending cuts of $1.2 trillion over the next 10 years!  Wow!  That’s great!  Well, not so fast.  We have a $1.3 trillion budget deficit this year alone!  That is on top of a $1.6 trillion deficit last year.  Plus, ten years is a long, long time in Washington.  Future Congresses may decide they too want to remain as fiscally irresponsible as their predecessors ...

BAH-RACK HUMBUG! Will the Grinch Tax Christmas?

President Obama, who doesn’t appear to care too much for Christmas, tried to impose a Christmas tree tax on those of us right-wing extremists who do.  President and First Lady Obama do not give Christmas presents to their daughters.  Also, the Obama White House Christmas (Holiday) tree last year was decorated with ornaments portraying the likeness of traditional Christmas figures such as Mao Tse Tung and drag queens.  Notice that Obama’s tax was not called a Holiday Tree tax.  Or a Winter Festival Tree tax.  Or an Any-Name-But-Christmas Tree Tax.  No, it was a Christmas Tree tax.  It seems in these politically correct times, the only time a ...

TEA PARTY PATRIOTS: Patriot Act Renewal: Senate Overwhelmingly Votes To Proceed “…Conservative groups are arguing against McConnell’s amendments, and that could augur trouble in the House. So far, the USA Freedom Act has enjoyed unusual support from both tea party groups and the American Civil Liberties Union. “We support passage of the USA Freedom Act as passed by the House, and see no need whatsoever for these amendments which are obviously designed to weaken the bill,” Tea Party Patriots CEO Jenny Beth Martin said in a statement. “Simply put, if it is amended in the manner that the Majority Leader desires, we will be forced to ...

TEA PARTY PATRIOTS: MITCH MCCONNELL CAVES (Quote by Jenny Beth Martin) The Senate GOP calls retreat on amnesty. “…And the third reaction? That came from Tea Party Patriots chair Jenny Beth Martin, who said in a statement: Throughout the election cycle Republicans vowed to do everything they could to stop the President's overreach. Now, the Republicans in the Senate under Majority Leader McConnell's guidance are playing games. Today we have learned that Sen. McConnell's plan is to bring a bill to the Senate floor that would fully fund the Department of Homeland Security without defunding executive amnesty! Congress has the "power of the ...

HEALTHCARE: Enrollment count in federal health care law padded, House panel says “The Obama administration recently inflated Affordable Care Act enrollment statistics by as many as 400,000 people by including stand-alone dental plans in its official count, according to an Oversight House committee investigation. The administration in September said 7.3 million people at the time were enrolled in health plans through the federal health care law's insurance marketplaces. The House investigation, first reported by Bloomberg, found that this number also counted people enrolled in just dental coverage, a change from how previous enrollment figures ...

Thank You to All Who Contributed to Saving Wisconsin

Last night in Wisconsin we saw history in the making. The special interests and unions were the clear losers in an effort to recall elected officials for keeping their promises. The thing is, the news media is absolutely shocked at the blow out that happened last night. First, we want to recognize some very special people who signed up through our website to contribute their time, their money, and their moral support for the efforts to stop the senseless recalls. Your support clearly had a major impact in what happened last night and we are extremely grateful. Thank you! Next, we want to thank the great patriots in Wisconsin for standing to ...
