Rep. Dave Brat (R-Va.) is optimistic about legislation he has coming down the pike that would increase immigration controls and choke funding for terrorist organizations in an effort to enhance national security under an administration that has been lax in that area. The Washington Examiner has the details: Federal detention policy enforcement has been loosened under the Obama administration, and local law enforcement agencies sometimes refuse to comply when requests are submitted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
