One could be a fluke. Two is a pattern. This time, it’s the fan favorite, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA): The Environmental Protection Agency often refuses to waive fees for Freedom of Information Act requests from conservative groups, while almost always waiving them for environmental groups. That’s according to an analysis of a year’s worth…
On Thursday, the House of Representatives voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act. The bill passed 229-195, with two Democrats voting for repeal and no Republicans voting against the bill. The bill has no expectations of actually moving forward in the Senate, and of course the President would veto any such legislation that came to…
Back in January, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit found the President’s “recess” appointments of three National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) members, as well as the head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, were anything but. As Tea Party Patriots explained at the time: Pro forma sessions are essentially mini-sessions, where Congress…
Since the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released its latest projections on the national debt this past Tuesday, a chorus of voices has claimed our short-term and/or medium-term deficit problems are largely solved. Unfortunately, these voices are relying on unrealistic assumptions in the CBO’s report. Whenever the CBO releases its budget projections, it includes a “baseline,”…
Seriously: The Internal Revenue Service official in charge of the tax-exempt organizations at the time when the unit targeted tea party groups now runs the IRS office responsible for the health care legislation. Sarah Hall Ingram served as commissioner of the office responsible for tax-exempt organizations between 2009 and 2012. But Ingram has since left…

While we continue to see bad news coming out of DC due to a lack of people taking a principled stand, we want to highlight some good news about a local principled stand which resulted in a victory for Christmas! Cowering to the threats of one resident and a national Anti-Christian group, Freedom From Religion…
Since the start of the Tea Party Movement, politicians in both parties have found it convenient to blame you whenever the Beltway Bubble is pierced. This hit something of a climax last year, when Tea Party-minded Members of Congress held strong against a no-frills debt ceiling increase. If you’ll remember, the word “hostage” was thrown…
Andrew Breitbart was many things to many people. For some, he was a fearless voice who stood up for truth in media. For others, he was an inspiration for them to make their voices be heard. And for others, he was a tireless advocate against government corruption.
Andrew was a friend to the Tea Party movement. He spoke at numerous events. One thing is sure, there will most likely not be another Andrew Breitbart any time soon! But there are many who he inspired who do not want his message to be forgotten. Here is a video tribute to Andrew and his undying spirit:
