18 Days to Stop Obamacare
Earlier this week, thousands of activists from around the nation gathered to demand Congress Exempt all Americans from Obamacare. The rally was a success, and the next day it was reported the House Leadership’s gimmick to fund Obamacare was stopped because of your hard work.
This is why we fight – to stop these gimmicks. To make sure votes actually make a difference by defunding Obamacare. And we have exactly 18 days to get it done, or Obamacare is all but permanent law.
Millions of Americans want Obamacare defunded. A plurality of our countrymen and women oppose the law in poll after poll. Yet if Obamacare is funded on October 1, it will be very close to permanent law, as the subsidies start rolling in. The law’s intertwined nature with private decisions will make that near-permanence reality as well.
Delaying Obamacare will give all Americans the same relief big businesses, unions and others have already received from the Administration. Yet many so-called opponents of Obamacare are letting it slide again.
We must keep up the pressure, everyone. Dozens of Senators have said this effort is impossible, that it can’t work. Those Senators already claiming defeat must be told the effort will only fail if Senate critics decide it won’t work, by not standing up for free markets and against Obamacare.
Only by standing as one will Americans and their Senators be able to prevent Obamacare from crushing our nation. We urge you to call the Senators below and tell them to sign on to Mike Lee’s letter today.
