17 Days to Stop Obamacare
Last week, thousands of activists gave up time, work, and money to demand Congress Exempt all Americans from Obamacare. The rally was a success, both in bringing attention to the problem of Obamacare and in putting pressure on Congress.
However, the battle isn’t over. The House has already tried a gimmick to fund Obamacare – a gimmick that was barely stopped. And unless something gets done in the next 17 days, Obamacare will become all but permanent law.
This is unacceptable to millions of Americans who want Obamacare defunded. A plurality of our countrymen and women oppose the law in poll after poll. Yet if Obamacare is funded on October 1, as the subsidies start rolling in soon afterwards, overturning it will be largely academic.
Delaying Obamacare will give all Americans the same relief big businesses, unions and others have already received from the Administration. Yet many so-called opponents of Obamacare are letting it slide again.
This is why we fight. Dozens of Senators have said this effort is impossible. They are wrong, and must be made to recognize that defeat will only come if Senate critics decide it won’t work, by not standing up for free markets and against Obamacare.
Only by standing as one will Americans and their Senators be able to prevent Obamacare from crushing our nation. We urge you to call the Senators below and tell them to sign on to Mike Lee’s letter today.
