What happened when the Tea Party came to Washington State

Join us as we celebrate the 4th Anniversary of the Tea Party with the 4Years4Liberty Money Bomb!
The Tea Party was founded to fight for the principles that made America great – those of fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited government, and free markets. The fight started in the Beltway Bubble in 2009, but has expanded well beyond simply protesting corruption in our nation’s capital.
Since the 2012 elections, the media has declared the Tea Party dead. Apparently, they weren’t paying attention in Washington State on Election Day, where Tea Party Patriots helped raise awareness about the importance of our founding principles. That awareness helped bring fiscally conservative candidates to Olympia in one of the bluest states in the country.
One of the best things about the Tea Party Movement is its lack of loyalty to any political party. We answer to the Constitution, not Democrats or Republicans. The American people tend to agree with us – Congress has had extremely low approval ratings for half a decade now, partially because of “Beltway loyalty” at the expense of the American people. Doing what is right is not popular with the D.C. crowd.
What we, and you, did in Washington State was unheard of. It took the media and political establishments completely off-guard, as Tea Party Patriots highlights in its newest video. Now, we are asking for your help again as we aim to raise $1 million dollars to bring power back to the people. Your contributions are invaluable.

I wish I had money to give. But we are on a budget just to make ends meet. Which have gotten worst starting this year. we have been to 2 Tea Parties in our county. Klickitat Co. Leo Spencer has done a great job. I have made up address size statements of protest. Like Don’t tread on me. lots of the sayings I have gotten off FB. It is my way of letting people know how I feel. Looking forward to more Tea Partys
Unfortunately, in the highly liberal Puget Sound region we had conservative yard signs torn up while the liberal candidate signs remained standing. I believe that is a criminal offense.
After the elections you could look up votes by county. The entire state voted red except Puget Sound Region (Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia) which has the highest number of out-of-state transplants. We started calling Seattle New San Francisco. We stopped going there bcuz the change in the culture made us disgusted.
We are now moving to Texas!
seattle imposes more on washington than it’s liberal agenda, it also imposes it’s employment and tax revenues, it’s the same case in Illinois and in New York, where the conservative rural areas moan endlessly about Chicago and New York City, respectively, while the states depend almost entirely on those cities,
Dear Ms Bryant,
you should definitely call the police, better yet, the FBI, about those campaign signs that got torn up. My word!
no, congress has low approval ratings because your candidates have ground the legislative process to a halt
look at what happened in California and Illinois where they now have democratic supermajorities, and Sacramento managed to fix it’s budget problem the moment you ‘baggers were kicked out, history will repeat itself in Olympia
