It’s been 4 years – and the Tea Party has already impacted Washington

In 2009, a spontaneous political movement swept the country. Yet the media and Washington ignored it. After all, Republicans and Democrats have run the country for over a century – what could a few million protesting citizens do?
In 2010, they found out. As Tea Party Patriots’ newest video reminds us, Washington was taken by storm in the mid-term elections. While not all of the newly elected Members of Congress were Tea Party-minded, the elections showed that it is indeed the people who, if they choose, are in charge of Washington.
For better or worse, Washington will not change in a day, a week, a month, or even a year. In 2012, the principles of fiscal responsibility and constitutionally-limited government took a blow. But our fight continues. With over 3,000 local Tea Party groups working to take back our country, we can bring Tea Party principles to Washington once again.
To accomplish this necessary goal, we need YOUR help. This week, help us to raise $1 million dollars to make sure we can bring power back to the people.
The Tea Party started because of millions of Patriots, but it can only continue because of you. Our victories are important, but more are needed. Help Tea Party Patriots keep the good fight going by donating to make sure the principles of constitutionally limited government, fiscal responsibility, and free markets once again dominate Washington D.C.

I think you are correct in thinking Tea Party Patriots aren’t taking back Washington, D.C. I also believe the American people will. History, empirical evidence and common sense has proven the social experiment your ilk has put in place is inviable. I contend we merely offer candidates wishing to help in restoring our great nation.
I used to be a staunch Republican, my eyes are open and I see that the Republican party has become more progressive all the time. I am like what Rand Paul has to say. Tea Party members can and are making a difference.
