All over the country, Americans are demanding to know the truth about what happened in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11, 2012. Recently, Tea Party Patriots National Coordinator Jenny Beth Martin listened to activists in Omaha, Nebraska about the Administration’s cover-up. One activist, Pawnee County Tea Party Patriots Coordinator Ralph Bodie, spoke strongly about the Administration’s failure to take responsibility for what happened.
Another activist said he hasn’t been to a Tea Party event in two years, but that the Benghazi cover-up led him to take his children with him to wave signs with Bodie and many other activist.
The dereliction of duty by the media is both dishonest and harmful to our great country. We have to keep the pressure up so the media remembers it is supposed to hold politicians accountable, not cover for them.
We all know last night’s results were disappointing, and the media is to blame for that. Had another politician been President, he or she would have rightly been hammered by the media for what happened in Benghazi. It’s now up to us to make sure all Americans know the facts about what happened two months ago, when four Americans died. Thank you for your work in making this a reality.

the point is, the Administration lied about WHY the event happened and down played the coordinated, organized nature of the attack. Additionally, the Administration (Obama specifically) has said on multiple occasions that Al Qaeda is on the run…hardly.

I think while the investigation in to the Benghazi “cover up” is being ramped up it should also include the Bush administrations claim that there were weapons of mass destruction (when in fact there were none) as a reason to put the US in a state of war.

Nebraska had more GOP votes than in 2008, and we got almost all our preferred candidates elected. We would have had more Tea Party Patriots members at the two events on Nov 3rd and 4th, but the majority were out working the neighborhoods for the candidates that we chose to support. For a couple, we were the difference. The issues that all are trying to analyze are worthless in the bottom line. The facts are that our membership is about to go through the roof, and TPP will be the entity that they will flock too when the anarchistic Sal Alinsky devotee unloads his plans to destroy the nation, which is what was planned all along.

charles, i have a niece that helps new immigrants get on government programs. if we had a good program, we could put them in line to work instead of get handouts. I am sure the 1/3 are tired of carrying the 2/3 and it won’t last forever. So many college age kids don’t even want to work. It’s no wonder the message of jobs isn’t going so well. so, let me get this straight: people are coming to this country and going straight to welfare,? today, people from all walks of life are placed in complex positions where they have to supplement with welfare to make ends meet. we need to have the courage to critically examine this problem of economic inequality without scapegoating and obtain the evidence we need to understand what we face today so that things can improve for EVERYONE.
so, following the line of logic to conclusion: is there fear that people who are offered access to welfare will remain on it indefinitely? has anyone here ever been on welfare? does welfare actually cover the full cost of living for people? i’ve always understood it to be a supplement for people out of work and individuals who work but are at or below the poverty line. do we really have evidence that suggests that people receiving assistance have no desire to work ? i was of the impression that welfare assistance functions as a temporary means of stabilization, so wouldn’t it follow that such people will eventually have to play a role in the work force?
if we don’t like that our taxes cover the cost of welfare, we can do something about it. there is not enough effort being made to critically examine why business owners choose limit the type of jobs that provide people with enough pay to meet the cost of living. we exist in a society where people work very hard for minimum wage and are not able to survive without resorting to welfare. if we were able to take responsibility for the consequences of not providing a living wage for workers, a solution might be found. i know that if more people were paid a living wage, it would deter such people from turning to welfare for support and reduce taxes.
i’m certain that some patriots here are in fact business owners, so i want to ask you if you are willing to take some accountability for this problem? i want you to explain to all of us here why it is that you are not doing your part to create jobs that would deter people from having to rely on a welfare system by offering people a LIVING WAGE for their labor.
the culture of greed must considered a moral issue for the tea party. we’re not resolving the problems we are experiencing by endlessly making claims about the immorality of welfare, of the poor, and of their cultural and ethnic heritage. furthermore, focusing on the immorality of the poor permits greed to be an acceptable practice for corporations and business owners who are excused from taking accountability in their choice not to provide people with alternatives to welfare (aka, paying people a living wage.) without confronting greed and its role in our culture, a welfare system will likely remain in place and such a system will imprison those who are stuck on the hamster wheel of labor for pay that is not sufficient enough to keep the economy moving in a healthy manner.
we do have the ability to do something about how we run our businesses and confront how that contributes to the problems we face today. if we are not taking any time to examine the role of greed in American lifestyle, it will only continue to pit people against one another and cause class warfare which does NOTHING to solve the problems that exist for us as a nation. we are then reduced to being petty complainers who want something external to blame for the economic problems that we perpetuate each day through our own tolerance of greed.

This is a REAL issue…four people died, and no one has been held accountable! Worse yet is that during the past two months, the CIA director hasn’t investigated anything but his mistress! I now know why there has been no REAL response to the Benghazi murders. It worries me, as I have family in the region volunteering.
I wrote my state representatives requesting a response or inquiry into the 4 deaths at Benghazi…I received a response yesterday! They want me to contribute to the Veterans Day party they are giving! ait in vain for 7 hours if they cried for help? Would you watch the massacre in real time video, then leave your house to go attend a party? Analogous to a family, the Commander-in-Chief represents the Father of all the Sons and Daughters in the military. 4 sons cried to their father for help and He denied them.

One of the first things that needs to be done is to organize protests and boycotts of the major networks (NBC, CBS, ABC), smaller cable outlets (MSNBC, CNN) and major daily newspapers. We must demand full reporting of Fast & Furious, Bengazi, voter fraud and the left’s fight against voter ID laws. Cripple their businesses. Use Sal Alinsky’s tactics. Long term we must find a way to take back the schools in this country. Many of today’s problems began in the late sixties when educators (?) gave in to the progressives. Eliminate teacher and public service unions starting at the local and state levels.
