5 Days away from Fundamentally Restoring our Constitution
November 1, 2012 at 8:42 pm in Blog, News by Tea Party Patriots 15 Comments

Good evening patriots, we are just 5 days away from fundamentally RESTORING our Constitution. Each day from now until election day, Tea Party Patriots will be updating its blog with information from each Tea Party Patriots Regional Support Team (RST) Coordinator on efforts leading to November 6.
With only five days until the most important election in a generation, it’s critical that grassroots activists work together to promote the core principles of Tea Party Patriots: fiscal responsibility, constitutionally-limited government, and free markets. With this in mind, we urge you to reach out to your respective local leaders so they can help you work with your RST to find out how you can most effectively help activists in and around your area.
Coordination is key to any victory of principle over the corruption of Washington. However, individual effort can never be discounted. This is why it’s important that – in addition to contacting your local leaders – you participate in the Tea Party Patriots Call From Home Program. Participation every day from now through Election Day means over 100 undecided voters will be touched by your stand on principle. It also means you will get a free T-shirt after call 60, and each call you make puts you in the running for one of two iPads.
To keep up with all that is going on with Tea Party Patriots around the country, keep checking our video page on a daily basis!
We’re less than a week from taking America back. Keep it up!

I am a Christian woman who always votes Republican. I wont vote for Romney for the following
reasons.
1. He is a member of a cult religion Mormonism that once condoned multiple wives
2. He STILL supports Murdoch even after the Rape comment.
3. He does not believe in equal pay for women.
If you were truly a Christian woman, you would be more forgiving. We have so little choice and I surely not going to go to vote for a usurper if he were the last person on earth.
I do not understand all Religions, but I will not “mock” another religion. I try to always respect them even if I don’t understand them all. It does not mean that I believe them all, it simply means they have choices just as we do.
I today penned a long letter to my Congressman and detailed in full my concerns for our nation. He is one of the few if not the only person in government that I trust.
I am all for woman’s right but at this critcal time and 4 days away from the election – I am more concerned with “America staying America” and not some “Marxist-Socialist society” – and that is right where we are headed if a usurper and traitor is leading us.
We know NOTHING about this so called POTUS … other then he would not know how to tell the truth no matter what. America has been lied to and duped. I want all future generations to know the America I grew up in. I want them to have freedoms and liberties …not be chipped and tracked .. I want them to learn about the Constitution and the BIll of Rights – I want them to be nourished with truths and learn about respect and integrity.
We MUST search out the truth, we MUST Pray for America and we must take whatever action is necessary in order that we ALL remain free.
Thank you!!!
Mr Romney believes in equal rights for women and he backed away from Murdoch.
Candice, Good call
It is sad that the only Rebulican response to anything “Look at Obama, look how bad he is…..”
It would be refreshing for somebody to list all the positive things that the republicans have done for the middle class in the last 10 years, oh wait…….they have not done anything
Romney is a morman businessman who is a good photo op, he strategy is “If I don’t say or commit to anything, I won’t get in trouble!”
Candice, I too am a Christian woman. I am voting for Romney because of Obama’s campaign supporting abortion and same sex marriage. Romney’s religious beliefs are more Christian then Obama’s views obviously. What Murdoch said about rape was not condoned by Romney. He asked him to not run and step down due to that remark. Murdoch refused. Romney has distanced himself. He does believe in equal pay and I am not sure where you got that from but he does. I hope you vote for the Republican ticket if only to fire Obama. Thanks for reading my post.
It is clear that Mitt Romney does not support womens rights. I am a republican
but I WON’T vote for Romney.
Exactly, “why is it clear he doesn’t support woman’s rights.?” And what exactly has Obama really done for woman? Free health care for all, that will be neither free or good? Besides why should others be directly or indirectly forced against their religious beliefs for ” health care ” aka abortion? We need a president that fully supports the Constitution, has good solid economic policies, and truly believes in freedom via limited government. The massive debt is slowly taking away our security and personal freedom. Don’t be fooled by spin in the media. We have only one choice. “Move forward” to whatever a progressive socialist vision dreams or stop the erosion of our God given freedoms.
Do women have rights that men don’t? How did that happen?
I thought our Constitution provided for equality under the law?
Who can best handle U.S. finances and economy?
One candidate: a former community activist, who was president while $5700B of debt was racked up.
The other: a very successful businessman who founded a $66B company, and governed MA from having a balance of -$2B to +$2B.
Did you know the U.S. spends about $1B/day on interest. Can you think of a better use for that money? If our balance sheet was zero, and we simply distributed the money that had been used on interest to states, no state would be in debt including CA. We could spend the rest on a high speed train network, and throw a couple Billion to high tech research.
It is foolish to focus on miniscule issues like whether birth control should be covered by health insurance, or believing Romney doesn’t think women should be paid as much. Look at what’s IMPORTANT. The bane of our country’s future is the lack of fiscal health.
The actual infractions on the “right to vote” and having that vote counted correctly come from the Republican camp. One readily notes all the laws and regulations being passed in Florida to thwart voting by minorities in an effort to undermine turnout for President Obama in that State. it’s unconstitutional and conjures up memories of Jim Crow. Ohio is another example where a Republican friendly firm is installing 11th hour software into the voting system, which is stamped off by a Republican attorney general, which could potentially slant the entire election in Romney’s favor. The threat to our voting system is not from the left by any means, and only negligible at best compared to real actions being taken overtly and clandestinely by the right to win this election by hook or by crook!
5 days to restore the Constitution? Did Romeny promise that ever?
I don’t remember the constitution saying the keep your money in offshore accounts to avoid taxation or to not make public your tax records, even though his dad was a champion of this.
Very sad that this is what the Tea Party thinks will get votes for their candidate. This has not merit behind it.
For all the wingnuts who think President Obama is an evil person who is out destroy this country, you need to reexamine your conscious.

I-Love-My-Country, yes Obama sure did tear up……and I would have too, all those days of lying, cheating and coverups! A lot of pressure for one man, wondering if you could dupe everyone into voting for all the bad ideas and same ol’ crap that he sold the first time around! And of course you got all your “reputable” info from the Huff-Po. WOW………..
I have given considerable thought as to whether Constitution-supporting Americans should work with the Republican Party or form their own. I am of the opinion that most of the Republicans pay lip-service to the Constitution, but are not significantly better than Democrats when it comes to upholding the precepts that formed America. I vote for a split from the Republican Party and the formation of a new Constitution Party.
You guys sold out to the Republicans the day after the 2010 elections. They immediately screwed us over by agreeing to the debt ceiling increase, but enjoyed your unflinching support. You had a chance to support Ron Paul, a candidate with tough, painful, but real solutions. Instead you chose an obvious loser. All of my contributions will be going to the Campaign 4 Liberty between now and the next elections. I am sending them money now to fight statist legislation that will be shoved through by the so called “lame duck” congress before the next congress is sworn in — and the Tea Party continues to drink republican kool-aid. The core principals you claim to have are antithetical to the republican party’s platform of foreign intervention, bigger government, maintaining their jobs at any cost to the American people, and the continued accumulation of debt through the use of debt-based currency — the identical platform of the democratic party. The minor differences are just that.
You don’t believe in shovel-ready jobs?
