Tonight, following the final presidential debate, Jenny Beth Martin of Tea Party Patriots had the following comments:
“The United States can’t have a strong leadership role in the world when we are weak at home. President Obama has made America a financially weak, welfare and food stamp dependent nation. Our people have less opportunity, less hope and little expectation for a better next four years. We need a president who believes that America should be a world leader, that a financially strong America makes that possible, and has the wherewithal to rebuild our economy. President Obama’s values, beliefs and agenda don’t support this vision.”

It was and is very clear that Mitt Romney won this debate. He was calm and cool and looking very Presidential.Obama interupted Romney several times and was visibly P/O’d.Mitt Romney knew the issues and had the answers.Mitt Romney will be our next President!.
I do not know where Obama is getting his donations from whether its from Foreign entities or not. All I know is when this election is over I am hoping for more jobs in the health care administration industry. I am tired of making minimum wage and or 12K per a year when I have the experience in an office atmosphere. I am tired of not being able to live on my own and if I am not RICH I feel like I am living on the edge. Not only, do I see myself like this but, friends and families struggling from 2008 when things really started weighing on the USA! I went back to school to become an Administrative Medical Assistant in 2011 and haven’t even had a chance to work in my field of dreams. My certification expires in 2016. I have returned to school to get an AA degree in health care administration with a concentration in medical records. I am so, hoping that with all this education it will soon pay off. I see students finishing school and not a chance as well to get a foot in the door. We are really wasting our time on other countries and not worrying about our own USA citizens. I am really hoping that we start bringing jobs back to our country instead, of outsourcing to other countries! We have eligible people here in the USA that can make a difference as well.
This debate made me very nervous. I was all for Romney but he seems to have changed his positions over and over. He’s moving way to center for my comfort.
I would argue that he should shoot for center. If we’re going to get bipartisanship for anything, they can’t be playing to their extreme base.
If four chaotic, uncertain, shameful years of
a lame impostor/traitor POTUS isn’t enough
to open the eyes of the American people…….
then your, “so called” undicidedness is
just plain naievité & gullibility.
100% agree. Onlya kool aid saturates classical useful idiot could still be voting O or even seriously be undecided at this point.
I don’t want to jump on the ‘Mitt Romney won’t reveal his plans on the economy’ bandwagon, but in each of these debates, when asked to explain his economic policies, he just refers everyone to his website. He’s on television to tell us, the voters, what his plans are and debate their effectiveness with the president. Why is he not doing that?
2 minutes is not enough time to go into much detail. Referring to the website (available 24/7/365) ensures that those interested can go to look and examine his plan to his/her satisfaction/dissatisfaction. I can’t really slight him for this.
We both know the 2 minute rule isn’t enforced terribly well. It doesn’t make sense not to with one of the more crucial issues of the debate. If he’s trying to pull undecided voters or left-leaning voters, he should be telling them what he can do for them instead of telling them to google him. ‘Vote for me, but check out my website as to why.’
I do see your point and agree to an extent. However, the way either of those guys speak they can easily consume 90 minutes just thanking the in-house audience, the television audience, the moderator, the building, the campus, etc… While some substance would have been good, I think both candidates trying to explain themselves and rebutt the other would have made for a very drawn out and monotone debate. I do see your point though.
Although Romney was not/is not my first choice for POTUS I’l say this again..any sitting president that has to go on the offensive instead of lauding his sucesses LOST the debate. Romney has no foreign policy decisions under his belt NOR is he fully apprised of the current goings-on. The FACT the he gave the POTUS the benefit of the doubt and elected not to go for the throat should not be seen as weakness, but strenth and integrity. The FACT that those in the MSM and the left think this is a victory only shows a complete disconnect with reality.
The FACT that those in the Tea Party Panty Waists and the right wing kooks think this is a victory for Twit Robme only shows a complete disconnect with reality.
