Day 8: Make the final push count by calling undecided voters
October 29, 2012 at 1:34 am in News by Tea Party Patriots 4 Comments

We’re eight days out from November 6 – the last full work week before Americans go to the polls and decide if we’ll return to being the freest nation on Earth or simply be another failed political experiment. It’s urgent that every Tea Party Patriot step in and do his or her part to make sure individual liberty, balanced budgets, and constitutionally-limited government are once again dominant in America.
Simply put, the most important way you can make this happen is by calling undecided voters. The Tea Party Patriots Call From Home Program has touched base with thousands of undecided voters in the last few weeks. With your help we can double or triple that in this last critical eight days. Between dynamic local programs such as Post Card Blitz, Get Out The Vote events, traditional phone banks, and the Call From Home Program, Patriots around the nation have reached thousands of undecided voters. But we need to make sure do to even more – nobody wants to wake up on November 7 thinking he or she didn’t do enough for the nation.
We know you’re busy, so we’ve added some incentives to make the calls worth your while. First, if you make 60 calls you get a free t-shirt. Additionally, every call you makes gets you an entry to win one of 2 iPads we will be giving away. Watch the video for more details:
How can you sign up for the Call From Home Program? Simply go here http://www.teapartypatriots.org/callnow/ and sign up. Then make 25 calls a day for the next eight days. That’s 200 people you, one person, could influence between now and Election Day!
This is the final push for the most important election in a generation. Please make your voice heard. Thank you.

I am a lifetime conservative woman who has voted Republican
for over 30 years. I am totally disgusted by the recent comments
on rape by Richard Mourdock and even more disgusted
that Mitt Romney did not pull his ads for this guy.
I guess Mitt believes the same thing. He just lost my vote!
Jill, I am sorry that you are pulling your vote from Mitt for something that someone else said. No matter what the man said, he has a right to free speech. I respect Mitt for allowing him to have his say…even thought I do not agree. How many people do you know that you agree with 100%? Believe it or not, I am known as a “hard nose.”
I agree with Jill on not voting for Romney, & agree with her reasons, but my reasons are far more reaching.
I’d bet dollars to donuts that calling people who are undecided does NOT include convincing them to vote for a REAL patriot – Gary Johnson. He’s actually able to do what he promises, unlike liberal-in-neocon-clothing Romney, who’s parroting neocon answers in which he does not, nor has he ever, believed in. He’s always been pro-choice; this pro-life stance is just to get your votes, & Republicans are too blind to see it.
Republicans let the Convention rewrite the bylaws on the fly to give full control of the entire convention to Romney. This disenfranchised Ron Paul supporters, & confirmed that the GOP was SCARED TO DEATH RON PAUL WOULD WIN. Otherwise, why not let him have his say, let his delegates vote, & when it’s over, that’s that, if they’re so sure Romney could win. They weren’t. And the GOP has given party control over to a group of high-powered lawyers. This is probably to fight all the voter fraud lawsuits at the state, local, & national level, brought by lawyers who support the Constitution – and, secondarily, Ron Paul. It is their respect for the Constitution that drove them to this, to challenge how many local & state GOP groups rewrote THEIR bylaws to stop people from supporting Ron Paul. And let’s not forget all those young people who worked their behinds off, learning our political processes on an intimate level, because the GOP LIED & said they wanted young people in the party. They do NOT, not unless those young people are mindless robots who do exactly what the party leadership demands. If they have minds of their own, & choose to support a candidate whom the leadership despises – or, in this case, FEARS – they WILL be punished.
There are quite a few young people who have done nothing illegal in their lives who found themselves, suddenly, on terror watch lists – often, when they were not hired despite being best qualified for a given job in a field of applicants. So, the GOP apparently had no compunction about ruining the lives of many of Ron Paul’s young supporters. I suppose I am on one of those lists, as well, for being so outspoken about this. Since I’m too ill to leave my house except when we are very low on something or to see a doctor, I don’t think I’m watch list material, but then, they pretty much go for ANYONE who THINKS instead of acting like sheep.
So far, Obama has introduced despair, economic destruction, & hopelessness, while screwing over the educational system so that the US, by & large, graduates dummies (just watch Jay Leno’s “Jaywalking” segments on “The Tonight Show” on NBC to be truly frightened – our son was homeschooled & he could answer all Jay’s questions correctly when he was 8). He’s reduced income, destroyed business with over-regulation, & trashed our heatlhcare system (true single payer healthcare would have been to extend Medicare to everyone; this system enriches & deregulates health insurance providers far more than what it replaces did, 2 of the main objections to the “old” system v. Obamacare). There are more households with dogs than there are with children among the young people – my guess is they’re burdened with debt, but I can tell them that a dog’s care is FAR more expensive than a child’s care! He’s doing exactly what his mentors told him to do – overwhelm the system until it collapses & people are ready for a completely Marxist agenda. Romney is Obamacare’s grandpa, & YOU want HIM in the White House???? Are you NUTS????
It’s time for a change, & it’s time for the T.E.A. Party to go back to its roots & start supporting someone who actually WANTS the Constitution restored. Romney’s made plenty of off-the-cuff remarks that indicate he’s eager to be President with no restraint on his power by that pesky Constitution. Gary Johnson would restore the Constitution – by one simple expedient – demand the Supreme Court explain how the U.S.A. P.A.T.R.I.O.T. act, in any of its many forms, is the least bit Constitutional – the standard by which ALL laws must be measured in the U.S.A. N.D.A.A. would fall; CISPA & SOPA would never again see the light of day; all the surveillance of the average American, surveillance that IMO is nothing more than voyeurism by Government employees, would be halted. And that would just be a start.
Please, read “Government Bullies” by Rand Paul. Open your eyes, people. Neither of the main parties’ candidates are worthy to run this country. Gary Johnson is the only one. Both Obama & Romney are owned by the big banks & corporate interests – mostly because the Supreme Court took away the limits that a corporation could give to a candidate. If politicians had to wear suits like NASCAR drivers & other pro athletes do, that list who their sponsors are, I doubt there would be enough room for all the owners of even the fattest politician in DC (I STILL think it would be a great idea – I was the first one to mention it on a lot of message boards & the idea has caught on). Even putting their sponsors on their cars wouldn’t cover it without using the windows. They serve the big corporations, NOT the constituency in their district/state/etc.
Libertarians do NOT serve anyone or anything but their country & the Constitution – so far…I am not stupid enough to think it will last forever. So, if you want a chance at freedom, STOP voting for the “lesser of 2 evils.” The lesser of 2 evils IS STILL EVIL. If everyone who was undecided, too disgusted to vote because they have no real choice this election (or most of the ones the last 50 years), or who was sure Gary Johnson is the best choice but don’t think he can win, would just hush up, go to the polls, & VOTE FOR HIM, he would WIN, or come darned close (a 3 way tie would be a huge message to the Republicrats that their reign of terror is over.
You guys have a choice to make…Giving over our country to 4 more years of Obama’s lies. It scares me to death thinking of him as Commander in Chief…It is just not right that our servicement have to serve under him…I can’t believe that you truly are working to save America from the jaws of liberal/progressive/socolist/etc. .or to protect our “freedom of speech.”
