Move forward with what?…… More taxes? Higher national debt? Still more deficit spending? Higher gas prices? Higher energy prices? Higher unemployment ? More and more businesses closing their doors? More people losing their jobs? More people losing their homes? Higher and higher food prices? More and more people on food stamps? More people in poverty? More loss of our freedoms and liberty? More government regulations? More unpopular laws? More attacks on our religious freedoms? More shredding of our Constitution?
Obama and his corrupt gang from Chicago have seized power at an unprecedented rate, regularly skirting our Constitution with blatant disregard.
These far-left radicals now running our country will say and do anything and everything to remain in power. They will lie, cheat or steal to further their socialistic agenda. They have worked for too many decades to achieve the power they now have. They are not going to go quietly into the night!
No thank you, Mr. Obama, we don’t want you to “keep moving forward”! We liked America just fine the way it was before you came along to fundamentally change it!

Thank you Phillip. When working a booth at a county fair for a prospective new chapter, I had a young man walk up with friends and who said he was in the Navy for only four months. I thought I had not heard him correctly. He confirmed that he had finished basic training and was deployed to a ship and then was discharged. He and 26,000 other Sailors due to cuts to the Navy, forced by President Obama.
This caused me to have increased concern about this not getting the media coverage that it should. In fact it appears that this information had been hidden. 26,000! That is a lot of men discharged~!
NebraskaTPP, you do know that the U.S. has 11 aircraft carrier task forces, while nobody else in the world has more than 1? And that we currently spend almost as much on ‘defense’ as the entire rest of the world combined?
I guess we’re planning to have the entire rest of the world ally themselves against us and attack…
Government financed by taxes is wealth redistribution in any sense. Money is forced out of our pockets and is used for the collective benefit including such undertakings as interstate highway construction. Now think of our current taxes. We are subjected to an immense array of taxes including federal, state, county, municipal, sales, property and nearly an endless list of more obscure taxes. So it is my belief, that when the total taxes assessed on the individual exceeds some percentage of an individual’s income then our nation will evolve into a socialist state regardless of the ideological debate taken up by its citizens. If we are not already at that point, we will surely get there if the total tax base on the individual continually rises as a percentage of their income. The same argument can be made for private sector businesses.
The only way to avoid this inevitability is to limit the size of government and strive to raise tax revenue by way of economic growth and not by assessing additional tax revenue on our citizens and their businesses.

Craig…turns out left, right, or indifferent the American gov’t always caves when nations cry for help. I’m not a big fan of the huge defense bill, in fact I can live with the fact that we no longer help Pakistan, Iran, N Korea, when tough times hit and they need the military to move humanitarian aid. Fact is…our government does it. Either cut the scope of mission, or cut the scope or spending. Your response, meant to bait a 12 yr old is neither helpful or constructive. Good Day.

I don’ think the truth has to be considered “baiting.” We really need to get a handle on the deficit and whether you like it or not, the defense budget has historically inflated the deficit more than any other single item. Reagan did it, Bush did it.
The Navy’s carriers are the single most vulnerable piece of equipment in the arsenal to missile attack. Surface anti-ship missile technology has made huge advances and there is essentially no defense. BTW I am a vet. Let’s spend the money more wisely.
Wow…you know today I was in my civics I was mocked by both the teacher and students for being a Christian and Conservative. Being here in Cali, this is a typical day. Each time I say what I believe I get shut down. I do believe we are losing our freedoms. And also Obama has split up America to the point where we are so close to a civil war. It is sad. I believe this is Obama’s plan…split and destroy.
You know I have said the America is headed for a Civil War or Revolutionary War for many years.
It is a sad thing when WE the People sit back and fail to vote and fail to hold our representatives responsible. The Romney Ryan Campaign is right We Employ them, isn’t it about time we FIRE those who fail to obey the will of the people.

Omg. This is a rant not an editorial or blog. The author just wrote a paragraph of empty empty complaints. They didn’t present any backup or evidence or list anyosdeeds or lies its just an empty rant like all the garbage I hear in the media. I thought if I came to the tea party source I’d find real knowledge and understanding.
Facts are facts……look up the information for yourself. Under Obama, we are fast-tracking to Socialism. In 1944, Norman Mattoon Thomas, Leading American Socialist and 6 time Presidential Candidate for the Socialist Party of America, said in a speech.
“The American People will NEVER KNOWINGLY adopt Socialism. But under the name of “LIBERALISM” they will adopt EVERY fragment of the Socialist program, until…….one day America will be a Socialist nation……without knowing how it happened.”

I am an independent and attended the La Malfa – Reed debate. I reviewed the Tea Party’s vision and profile and am quite confused – can you reconcile how you are against social programs and government involvement when most of the Tea Party members appear to be recipients of social security, medicare and other forms for federal benefits ? I met several Tea Party members who benefitted from being part of a union, retiring and currently getting benefits but your party seems quite anti-union ? Is it okay for you to receive it but future generations cannot ? I am trying to be open but the contradictions seem apparent. Also, as a health care professional, Obamacare is providing coverage for 38 million people who historically were denied coverage by insurance companies who determined pre-existing conditions and put a cap on chronic disease treatment… my guess is you have family and friends who are benefitting from this program. I am fiscal responsibility but letting corporations off the hook by not paying their fair share of taxes keeps $100 billion/year from the tax roles.. explain please.
A brief explanation of OBAMA…put, I admit…. into simple, easy to understand words…..
Your government has… a $1,500 Medical BUDGET to cover 20 people and 10 doctors to provide this coverage…….Now under OBAMACARE you are adding 3,000 MORE people…but you STILL have ONLY a $1,500 Budget available…you STILL have only 10 Doctors to provide coverage….but now you have to cover 3,020 PEOPLE.
Of course THERE WILL HAVE TO BE CUTS!………DEATH PANELS…ANYONE ???
