Today I felt an anger that I did not know I was capable of feeling. Upon hearing that the Supreme Court upheld Obamacare, my heart sunk and I felt sick to my stomach. I was feeling beaten and hopeless when my phone started ringing and friends were asking me what they could do. I had a choice to make. I could sit and stew and be angry and give up (as I considered for a couple minutes), or I could step up and work harder to make positive changes.
This decision goes against the principle that the federal government has limited powers. Never before has our Congress had the power to force us to buy something they deem necessary. It has become clear to me that if changes are going to be made, it has to be from WE THE PEOPLE! It’s up to me and you to take back America. We cannot give up. Not now. Not ever. One of the first things we need to do is send most of our congressman and senators home. The Supreme Court justices sent us down this road because our congressman and senators enabled such an unconstitutional farce.
Rush Limbaugh said, “When you boil tea it gets stronger and that’s happening right now!” The tea party must take this anger and turn it into action. Americans overwhelmingly do not want this healthcare reform rammed down our throats. Our loss of freedoms will never be returned to us without a fight.
To be honest, I feel like I am still in the middle of a deep fog. I wish I could give you a one, two, three approach and and tell you how to fix this mess. I’m not sure that such a plan or a list even exists. I am an ordinary citizen, grounded in what my constitution means and who cares about my country. I refuse to give up because the hill just became much steeper. The only things I know for sure is that in the coming days we must unite. Look for ways to become educated and engaged. Join me in finding ways to turn anger into action.

Every American citizen should watch this report that John Stossel gave last night. It pretty much sums up both Republicans and Democrats waste on several topics including health coverage.
Government needs to be downsized & both parties need to take full responsibility for things going the wrong way.
I absolutely agree! The bigger the government is, the worse we are treated. (Politicians are elected from advertisements that lie to us. I learned about the from advertised products I would otherwise buy, but when I see an advertisement I no longer believe it is any good.)

But if we are waiting for Senate Republicans to do anything, don’t hold your breath. I put a proposal to my Junior Senator (Marco Rubio) to reduce the size of the Federal workforce by 3% EVERY year for the next 10 years w/o terminating anyone. Keep in mind that over 60% of the current workforce will be eligible to retire in that same 10 year period.
His Neoconservative Chief of Staff will not permit me to even meet with MY Senator, to discuss my proposal, because the Senator is already a sponsor of a bill to reduce the workforce by 10%.
Of course, it may be a source of some embarrassment that the bill Senator Rubio has endorsed has Presidential “loopholes” in it, but that’s not in his (the Chief of Staff’s) control. Meanwhile, Sen Rubio is paying more attention to his personal “Dream Act,” than his #1 campaign commitment: “Reducing the size of Government.”
If the G.O.P. fails to win back the White House, AND the Senate, these efforts are going nowhere!
We need to exercise our rights to improve our Government by doing the following REPLACE PUBLIC OPINION POLLS
Americans can cast their vote on any issue through the Social Security Department where everyone is already registered. Our Government would know exactly what WE want and not have to rely on opinion polls. We should vote on any issue which affects our Rights listed in THE BILL OF RIGHTS or AMENDMENT 14. Joseph – I have to disagree. Identity theft is so rampant that your SSN is probably in use by multiple individuals in addition to yourself. Illegals have been using real American’s SSN for years, they use your number to get a job then claim a high number of exemptions so they can send more money back home and you get the bill.
Public opinion polls will continue to exist, the trick is to be smart enough to understand the deception being perpetrated by the leftist organization conducting or paying for the poll/survey. Question all of them, who commissioned the poll, who paid for the poll, who conducted the poll and how they conducted the poll, i.e. how were the questions phrased, what was the sample division e.g., (R) vs. (D), what was the sample distribution, e.g., registered voters vs. likely voters, etc. A Media Matters Poll reported on NBC with 65% democrats to 35% republicans covering abortion or gun control “may not” be reliable /sarc off.
Alternatively, you could just ignore the polls completely, do your own research and form your own educated opinions. This, of course, is preferable.
I am more angry that Bush / Obama has been paying 100% of Universal Health Care for all citizens of Afghanistan and Iraq. We need to get to our Libertarian roots and vote in Gary Johnson for President. Obamney would be a fail for us all.
I agree massive changes are needed in our Government and that we need to take our Country back.
However, now is not the time for a third party candidate. It will simply split the conservative vote and keep Obama in office which will mean the disasterous end of America as we know it.
I know this personally as I mistakenly voted for Ross Perot which split the vote and helped elect Bill Clinton.

They talk a good fight but they’re happy to live in the minority and try to hold the Democrats from Communizing this country and having 8 families in every house. I agree. I have worked in healthcare for 45 years and endured the changes along thw way, many I hated including HCA and businessmen getting involved in healthcare to make money, professing to be organizing purchasing power. Making money off sick people started all the greed and began the decline in healthcare. Citizens who opt to work in healthcare know they will never become millionaires…they do it out of concern for mankind and to make an honest living at the same time.
The interesting thing to me is no matter how important you think you are or what your position in life, when you have a life threatening health emergency, you are really happy to be in the hands of those healthcare people that can help you. remember that when you vote this November. Healthcare will change in a way that will be devastating under Obama.
I came into this world without insurance, so I wish to be self insured now, but reserve the right to have my medical related bills paid for by my united states government if they pay for any US citizens or non US citizens medical related bills. Zapper, here is a plain and simple fact, “health care” is NOT a basic American or even human right. “Health care” is a. ones own responsibility (in the context of taking care of ones self), and b. a product or service that is paid for (when the care falls outside of ones own ability to care for themselves).
Does the uninsured going to the emergency room affect the cost? Yes. But it is negligible when contrasted against how government intrusion and manipulation of what should be a private market (both the care, and the insurance of care) has driven the cost though the roof…and it started well before many of us were born and has increasingly gotten worse.
There is free to low cost heath care available to EACH AND EVERY AMERICAN…eat right, exercise, don’t smoke or drink to excess…aside from what one can do for themselves NOTHING is FREE, there is a bill, and it will be paid somehow..
Personally I have much more confidence in letting the market (i.e., the consumer) regulate and control the cost of health care rather than the easily corruptible government. That and instilling some values of personal responsibility as opposed to dependence will also help.

Recent polls suggest that Conservatives are the largest single ideological group in the country. However a significant portion of the population (about 20%) consider themselves liberal. A little over a third describe themselves as “moderate”. My question is this, “What should Conservatives do about those that stubbornly continue to be Liberal?”

and while it is anti-Obamacare, it does not say he will not implement the law. Looks like he is kicking the can down the road hiding behind the ruse of taking time to analyses the ruling, etc.
It is these kinds of milquetoast weasels that have brought us to the situation we are in. We need people who will stand in the breech and oppose this law. The governor of Florida has stated he WILL NOT implement Obamacare there. That is what we need, decisive action not middle of the road weaseling.
I do not believe that repeal is enough, the constitution itself has been irreparably harmed. I believe that the only course of action, is to win big in November, then impeach the Justices who voted for this perversion of the constitution. What they did was outright illegal! Only congress has the constitutional power to tax, when this law was passed, the individual mandate was passed as a fee, or fine. By rewriting the law for the Obama administration, and calling it a tax, it means that Congress was never given the opportunity to vote on it as a tax, therefore the people were not represented! No taxation, without representation!! The constitution is crystal clear on this matter. In effect, the Supreme Court of the United States passed a tax without the approval of Congress that my friend, is illegal!! It may sound radical, but the damage to the constitution is the bigger issue, in my eyes, if we allow this precedent to stand, whether or not the law is repealed, will be a moot point in the long run!! The state attorneys’ general should go right back to court, file new lawsuits claiming an illegal tax, and make the justices vote yay, or nay, and if they vote nay, impeach them!! This, I believe, is not optional, either overturn this decision now, or we have lost, whether or not the healthcare bill is repealed!! If you agree with me, pass this thought along to others, I have heard no one talk of this approach, or viewpoint. There is always someone disgusted with each Supreme Court ruling = FACT. If we decide that this court has no right to determine whether a law is legal – doesn’t contradict the Constitution – who will decide? You? As a recent survivor of both cancer and a heart attack

The Senate passed the bill in the dead of the night on Christmas Eve when no one was there to oppose it. The House passed it under the infamous words of Nasty Pelosi, “we have to pass the bill before you can see what’s in it” Does that sound to you like representative government acting to SERVE the people?
Further complicating the issue is the treachery of traitor John Roberts who could have saved America and instead went out of his way to concoct a ridiculous argument and illegally rewrote the law to match his stupid decision. You may recall that Congress writes the laws, not the SCOTUS. What Roberts did was unconstitutional in many ways which Patrick has cited above. For these reasons I will not obey this law.
I’m sorry for your medical problems but that does not entitle you to enslave the entire nation so that you can get the care you desire at the price you want to pay. The costs of your care are so unaffordable because of insurance which has skyrocketed the cost of health care over the last 40 years. Insurance was something the liberal left imposed on you and the rest of us and it has FAILED miserably like everything they do. They solve a problem that doesn’t exist, creating a bigger problem which they then solve and so on. Each solution they implement involves a little more control and a little less freedom for the people.

Stanford University did a study on those that Watch Fox “news’ in relation to those who watch NO news. Their findings are that those who watch Fox are 30% less informed than those who watch NO news. It is time for change, the career politician is corrupt. I speak primarily of members of Congress. While I’m sure many start out with good intentions, but the lobbyists, campaign donors, corporations, their access to inside trading by virtue of their foreknowledge of impending legislation and it’s impact…. it goes on and on and they lose touch with the reality of real life – trying to make ends meet, getting the kids to school, paying for college, trying to be a good, decent caring person for the community in your little corner of the world.
Term limits must be set! We need to get back to a government of the people BY the people. REAL PEOPLE! not these self inflated what’s in it for me career politicians. I was taught that the idea was that serving your country was a duty, to be regarded as a pain in the *** but a necessary pain. You were expected to do it, do it to the best of your abilities, then count the days until you could get back to being a Mom or a Dad, business owner, employee, butcher, baker, homemaker…. I feel a sense of sadness that our country is one step closer to communism, and the only good thing I see coming out of this is that: #1. Our entire system is BROKEN. You know, the Tea Party Movement and it’s supporters engineered a tremendous victory in the November 2010 elections. We took back the House, we narrowed the Democrat Party majority in the Senate and we elected numerous local government officials. We did this not with the acquiescence of the Republican Party but is spite of the Republican Party and it’s establishment candidates. And what did we get for our efforts? Continued momentum with a Conservative presidential candidate? No!! We got a “moderate” candidate for President with a questionable Conservative portfolio and a sitting President with a terrible record who, shockingly, still appears to be competitive in most polls.
If the Republican Party loses this election, the Tea Pot and the Tea Party will have to do more than just “boil”. The Tea Pot will have to “boil over” and cause Tea Parties and their supporters to come together in a common effort to try to reverse the unimaginable damage that will have occurred. Whether it can be done within the Republican Party or whether it will require a new political party with a credible, Conservative alternative message is open to serious question.
This 4th of July we should fly the flag in distress signal or draped in black ribbon. We mourn the loss of our freedom and the demise of this great nation.

It’s been grating on me for along time. It’s funny, I have a group of friends that feel as I do, and another set who lean the other way. I love them all and don’t want to antagonize anyone, but there’s something inside that says it’s unseemly to express a political opinion if there’s someone else about who might disagree and be put off by it. I’m so glad you responded, glad to know there are others just like me with convictions that can’t stand to sit on the sidelines anymore.

I am a PA in Mass. and can tell you Mass. health stinks and the state is in deficit because of it. The hospitals in Mass. have sued the state because the state claimed it would reimburse the Hospital’s for the free treatment they provided to Mass. Health patients (since the govt. doesn’t pay its bill). Does it surprise anyone that the Mass. Govt. does not reimburse the Hospitals??????? Similar to all other government schemes. So Maggie, you may think you are getting something, but you are a clueless leach that does not realized your bill has not been paid. The government roll needs to be deminished in healthcare to bring down costs or they need to pay more than 30% of the bill.
I disagree with government control of ANY insurance I choose or not. Government rules will tell me what I can do for any problem I may have, as will insurance pay for what doctors tell me. But neither government nor insurance will pay for what I know works when doctors are wrong. As for hazards and injuries, I understand some government regulations are required. but the rest of my health is MY responsibility, and none of their business.
(If I believed doctors I would have already been dead three times. Also, if I accepted surgery insurance would pay for, I would have worse problems than the cancer caused me. Instead, I took herbs which ended the symptoms in thee weeks.)

I have been listening to the talking heads and the radio commentators and all of the things that Obama has said and done which are illegal or in direct opposition to his oath to protect and defend the Constitution, and it seems to me that it is time to draw up articles of impeachment. WE need to do this and press our congressmen and women to take it before the House. The court ruling on Thursday is, in my view, a pivotal event in US history as it creates precedents which could result in the complete loss of individual freedom and our very liberty. The passage of Obamacare is little more than the NEW “new deal”. Social Security was a program to provide insurance for some retirement income and care for those whose financial planning didn’t work. It was not intended as a standalone retirement. Obamacare will end up the same way at a significant taxpayer cost and will no doubt go the same way as Social Security; a cash cow raided by government for their own use and abuse. Democrat or Republican, greed does reach across party lines. As a taxpayer, I wish government would stay out of my life and provide the basic services the Federal government was implemented for.

Liberals have an agenda they adhere to faithfully. Over 70 years in the making and without taking their eyes off of the ball they accomplished what they intended – universalizing health care and ensuring the Government has a (an additional) continuous revenue stream. Added bonus – tax “We the People” for doing nothing.
Conservatives of all kinds take a “live and let live” attitude and generally feel that as with the response to the Stamp Act there will be a call to action and a Constitutionally oriented response to an issue. If we don’t win on the floor no problem, we’ll get them in the Supreme Court. It’s “Leading from behind”, “Leading from a Laz-y-Boy” or just plain passive aggressive. It’s closing the fences after the horses have run.

As it’s not about consistency – it’s about activism, an agenda, the “party” – they will again vote in staggering cult-like numbers for an administration which has clearly misled them, multiplied and magnified the issues of the previous by orders of magnitude.
Will Obamacare be repealed, I don’t think so. I’m sure similar arguments appeared when Social Security came to pass. Just look at the Liberals with the Prescription Drug plan. It’s hard to argue against “free” – especially when a law is crafted to hit the voter sweet spot. Is it the frog in a pot of water – turn up the heat until it’s too late – sure. Means to an end.
Just think to yourself what Laws have you seen Congress repeal for the long term? How many have sunset provisions, amendments, conciliatory agreements with the opposition. We tell others to let History be our guide – once the Law is passed it’s generally too late.
Look what just happened in the Supreme Court – a Chief Justice just stated that it’s their responsibility to interpret – and not make – the Laws and, completely ignoring the stated intent – used a tried and true Liberal method and changed the language to fit the message and a whole new class of tax was born.
If Conservatives had not taken their eye off of the ball we would not be in this position now. As a Check and Balance on the opposition we are 10% effective due to inactivity, inaction and complacency.
Be a Conservative activist. The message is not easy but it’s the right one. Be hopefull. Keep an eye on the long term, the participants, the money – who benefits, what is their motivation. Be vigilant.

First of all lets stop calling it “Insurance”. My Auto insurance does not pay for oil changes, brakes, tires and other routine maintenance. It’s specifically to protect me and my property in case of a catastrophe or accident.
Liberals want the Government out of the bedroom – but are OK with the Government being in the Operating Room and the Kitchen on the “Everyone” theory.
You eat and breathe more regularly than anything else, longer even than your bedroom life – into which the Government has significant limits on.
With Government involved in every aspect of your health imagine what you are giving up to the Government – intimate personal information, infirmities, indiscretions, risk tolerance, behaviour and a complete medical genealogy over your entire lifetime all captured and maintained in a single portable database ripe for access and search.
At this point it’s legal for the Government to tax you for inactivity. That is shocking in it’s scope and possible application.
What about taking everyone who is over the BMI and “taxing” them because they are a “threat” – cost – to “Everyone Else”? That would be a new revenue stream leveraging 36% of the population. Oh wait, that is already part of the Affordable Care Act (allowing employers to charge Fat employees more than any other).
What about “taxing” “High Risk Activities” such as Basketball, Football, Baseball. Kids need to be reviewed by a doctor before playing School sports and since, according to the CDC, kids to 19 have the highest rate of TBI (traumatic brain injuries) they could be at High Risk. Add to that pool the elderly and you have again over 30% of the population who could “contribute” due to their impact on “Everyone” – $77B each year.
Who decides who is overweight, what a high risk activity is, if – as your family has a genetic predisposition to Diabetes – you should be permitted to eat sugar, how much Doctors are paid – or at some point perhaps who can become a Doctor – etc? The Government – not “Everyone”. You ceded that responsibility to an organization looking to keep their jobs.
“Everyone” will be better served if we maintain a database of all Genetic information for all healthcare participants – Everyone. Today that is already happening in order to review genomes for genetic issues, to determine what drugs are effective – or possibly damaging – in order to “personalize” treatment for various diseases. Wouldn’t “Everyone” benefit if that genetic information could be searched to determine who committed a crime? “Everyone” would be safer.
In many Countries Doctors participate in National Health Care but many also are “fee for services” in private practice. That type of capitalistic approach will be suppressed here as “Everyone” will need to have access to “affordable” care.
And how will you get Universal care – a Universal, micro-chip encoded card just like European Countries do? “Everyone” will need one (but, of course, not to Vote and no one will “Show me your papers” this ID card).
Having lived abroad I can tell you one thing – who controls the healthcare statistics? The same folks who have been colouring statistics in shades of gray since time began. The Government. And if you don’t think the Government won’t play with numbers to rationalize the program you are kidding yourself – but “Everyone” will be able to view them on a web site somewhere.

Insurance is the problem! It fuels price inflation and keeps the free market checks and balances from functioning. People make different and SMARTER choices when they are paying the full cost of their purchases, and getting the full benefit of each dollar saved. How many people would really have chosen their current doctor if they were not simply one of the names on the insurance company list? Out of pocket fee for services rendered would force both price and quality competition back into the health care market, and further it would keep prices to a level that people can afford to pay. Sure there would be a market for catastrophic policies once yearly costs reached $20k or so, but having a third party involved with day to day transactions, just raises prices, reduces choices, and makes things more complicated for everyone involved.

Obamacare is an overreach for the government, for sure and I plan to do what I can to get Obama out of the White House. Beginning at the ballot box. Pundits at first hesitant and hostile, slowly warmed to Romney. They too had used their search engines. Romney found his voice and had struck a nerve. He gave the clearest – and principled – articulation of the 3 big flaws of 100 years of the social democracy welfare model. Between Romney’s daily soundbites and reinforced by their own reading, voters ‘got it’ viscerally. He mined a seam of electoral gold winning both the pragmatic and Tea minded by contrasting democratic capitalism principles to those behind cash for clunkers, Solyndracracy and Obamacare. Romney began to win the ‘clarity gap’ contest. He convinced voters his ideas would ‘create more taxpayers – not more taxes’. He said things like ‘revenue starts with tax reform’ and an egalitarian means testing.
At last, Romney is introduced by the other half of the new ticket, VEEP choice Senator Marco Rubio, who has earlier given the “Americans Renew – not Evade” Keynote Address – a break from tradition since 1948. Romney approaches the lectern. He begins speaking and raises a document above his head.
“America, thank you for reading this essay and choosing moral clarity! It’s only 10 pages long, unlike Obamacare. On November 6th, you’ll know what to do in Ames, Manchester, Charlotte, Orlando, Albuquerque, Pittsburg, Columbus, Las Vegas and in Denver. You’ll vote for renewal – not ‘government diktat.’ You’ll want to remove Obama’s sand from the gearboxes’ of small business. Moral clarity unites us with insight, confidence and conviction.
In Ames folks know WHY the social democratic welfare state model has failed us so miserably. They reject ‘spending other people’s money and returning America to the 1930’s’. We do NOT cede the issue of “fairness” to democrats because we get it why equality of OUTCOME is precisely UNFAIR.’ What IS fair is equality of opportunity. Full Stop!
In Manchester, Joe and Jane reject Pelosi’s 3 failures of the entitlement state: its inefficiency, moral wrongheadedness, and spectacular costs! ‘Most Americans believe we should start at more of less the same place with the same opportunities to succeed. Obama, perversely, wants us to believe it’s ‘unfair’ if some Americans end up in different places. Steve Jobs’ wealth was not unfair. Derrick Jeter’s riches are not unfair. Joe and Jane know the liberals’ contempt for the well off will not produce a single job. They believe it’s not the role of the state to narrow inequality through redistribution of other people’s money.
In Charlotte, Fareed and Fatima agreed Harry Reid has it backwards: Irving Kristol said: “liberals assume moral problems follow material problems – but the opposite is more often the case.” Fareed and Fatima understand most of us have a complete moral palate. We tastes flavors beyond the sweetness of of caring and redistributionist fairness. Most of us define fairness in terms of merit and proportion. Yet, our morality also values just authority, loyalty and the sanctity of family – not state. Most of us think everyone should arrive at an economic place on his or her own merits. Obama prefers we all end up in the same economic place regardless of our ability and effort. Wrong. Fareed and Fatima believe achievement should be rewarded – not diminished. The next generation awaits our choice of moral inclusiveness – not the fleeting sugar buzz of liberal welfare statism.
In Orlando, Jasmin and Darius discovered why Wasserman Schultz’s welfare state model is a ‘failure of moral wisdom.’ They figured out Obama’s tax the rich and ‘redistribution’ mantra will eventually sow the seeds of British, French and Greek style social chaos. Mr. Obama wants you to believe redistribution has the ‘same moral legitimacy as legal, political and religious equality.’ It does not! Redistribution is the opposite of ‘fair’.
In Albuquerque, Enrique and Banca realized a 70% debt to GDP ratio will bankrupt us. We must get that number down for our children’s sake. Obama’s shop worn call for ‘fairness’ is duplicitous because it implies “redistribution” is a core American principal when most Americans believe in equality of opportunity – not outcome. Nobody wants to sound anti-poor, but fairness demands that we expose Obama’s redistribution as the liberals’ Achilles’ heel it is.’
In Pittsburg, Sebastian and his partner, Jacob, my toughest critics, have begun to “get it.” ‘It’s not simply ‘government is too big’. It’s why X is not the purpose of government. Their advanced degrees helped, of course, and we encourage their liberal friends to join our big tent.
In Denver, Ren and Yua welcomed me because I did not overuse abstract words like the constitution, tradition, and natural law. I didn’t merely shout ‘stop’. These savvy Millennials wanted concrete ideas to get us to a better place. That place will include a sensible and affordable social safety net. My administration will mend and regauge the safety net to catch only the deserving – not those seeking a free lunch as a way of life. Ren and Yua reject the siren song of middle class welfare.
God speed FDR, LBJ, Wilbur Mills, Barney Frank, Henry Waxman, three Boomer Presidents – and those of both parties complicit in our 50 year economic fall from grace. Those still alive are invited to observe any commandant from that old saw – lead, follow, or get the hell out of our way.
Our rendezvous with providence is 8 weeks away. America’s fate is not to decline. Its resurrection rests on a moral clarity that can spot the difference between a pragmatic welfare program and a dismal welfare state.
The Party of Lincoln, in a new and inclusive tent, will reset our trajectory toward renewal with 5 big ideas: tax (1), tort and market based health care reform (2), reduced discretionary spending (3), fewer nutty regulations (4), and yes, everybody eat your peas…..egalitarian means testing (5) for morally justified revenue!
America, on election day, “redistribute” the wreckage of Obamanomics back to Chicago. Vote for renewal – not evasion. Elect me and fire 23 democratic senators to hasten our journey back to economic, political and cultural sanity.”

** Summary of the 62 paragraphs of Levin’s “Beyond the Welfare State”:
Paragraphs 1- 9 introduce the causes of our exhaustion and our baleful period of transition. They ask how our society is to balance our aspirations between racing ahead and yet leaving no one behind.
Paragraphs 10-19 summarize 100 years of trying to enact a bipartisan complicit vision that events have shown to be institutionally, morally and fiscally bankrupt.
Paragraphs 20 – 40 describe the passing of an illusion by fleshing out the 3 flaws of the social democratic welfare vision. The fiscal crisis of 2008 ends the illusion by speeding up our gradual ‘frog in the pot’ sense that the end is nigh.

The Roberts Rule, consequences
For most, the majority I see are too caught up in their personal lives to care much or to know. They do not know Justice John Roberts, the function of the Supreme Court and care much beyond, that is over there thus it does not concern me over here. You may see them occasionally caught on camera or know them personally, they do not know whom the vice-president of the United States is now and cannot name the branches of government. Unfortunately, this is the majority, you cannot reach them because they are not listening and will not notice anything until something effects their personal lives in their small world. Obamacare will be affecting this group and most likely negatively but it is the culmination that will invoke some sort of response. This process will likely happen slowly, a slow spiral out of control until some tipping point or boiling point is reach, until it breaks the wall of separation this group has erected and everything floods in quickly. This approximates what some of the new members of our Tea Party have told me, there really is a monster out there and the Roberts Rule just confirmed that being saved is a long away. This is a mixed group with everyone reacting differently, some joining the Tea Party or others taking action on their own and having a different patience or tolerance that is most certainly being tested. What is the point when someone snaps, goes postal or if they will and what are the consequences. This amounts to a big unknown for the majority, the only fact that is certain is this direction, push leads to shove and if anyone is pushed too far there will be consequences.
A book could be written much larger then the Obamacare Bill on how we arrived at this point, here Governor Deval Patrick changed the law by executive order and selected a partisan interim senator to fill a vacant U.S. Senate seat. Many others in other States had their vote stolen from them as well. We did not get to vote until later with the Brown41 Battle, the bluest of blue States basically voted against Obamacare. Thus making a fact, this Obamacare is an illegitimate representation of the will of the people. It seems funny how the Republican Establishment has not made this a national issue, it could be because they did not fight back when it counted thus they would be hypocrites now or because Romney abused the same executive order. Only a small minority wanted this direction of Statist Healthcare, Obamacare and there is irrefutable evidence that the majority did not want to be represented this way, they wanted a fight against this direction. There is however, an interesting factor in this and it was reported many times from the front line troops in this battle. There were democrat driven, moveon.org to union organized and vastly funded phone-banks and media in this battle and they were not on our side. In essence a large megaphone in the ears of those who were supposed to be representing our will and not this small minority. There is also speculation that this large megaphone also persuaded Justice John Roberts but this must not be taken as an excuse for making a bad decision. All this can only be summed up as disobedience, disobedience to the will of the people, disobedience to our Law and Constitution and there are consequences. If a child is disobedient, they are sometimes spanked but not beaten or otherwise disciplined and if a soldier is disobedient to the point of treason they are executed, the death penalty, but this is speculation. Speculation on the consequences of disobedience and misrepresentation is just that, all speculation and can be dismissed as only speculation. However, the seriousness of these consequences cannot be dismissed and these consequences are certain.
As declared in my State Constitution, Government is instituted for the common good; for the protection, safety, prosperity and happiness of the people; and not for the profit, honor, or private interest of any one man, family, or class of men. The general welfare of all the people equally wherein individual opportunity is protected and not provided. When our protection, safety, prosperity and happiness are threatened, we have an incontestable, unalienable, and indefeasible right to institute government, to reform, alter, or totally change. No man, nor corporation, or association of men, have any other title to obtain advantages, or particular and exclusive privileges, distinct from those of the community. No Sir, you may not have Statist Healthcare free at the expense of my protection, safety, prosperity and happiness because you are in a different class then I am. Personally, my list of grievances is too long to list all of them, thanks to Obamacare I added some two thousand pages and for a short version you can refer to the Declaration of Independence. Some people have a much shorter list like don’t mess with my beer budget, children, house or dog and you will have crossed the line if you do so. Our Government was supposed to protect us from the few that seek advantages, profit and private interest. Now it feeds them at our expense making all of us, and future generations a tax slave to the debt they have created. Obamacare is injures to the common good, it pushes our tax burden over the top flowing in to every aspect of society, creating a quagmire wherein we are trapped in a downward death spiral. Our protection, safety, prosperity and happiness are dependent on individual opportunity, the land of opportunity. The consequence of Statist Healthcare changes this to a Government handout, our individual opportunity is lost, and it is no longer our individual choice, freedom is lost. These consequences leave us no choice but one, to reform, alter, or totally change our Government.

ALEC, Rush and AFP, the ACA will actually CUT our deficit by $110 Billion by CBO estimates. In addition it will gaurantee millions of Americans no cost preventative care, allow my 25 year old daughter to stay on my policy thus providing savings for herself and her employeer. It will save senior $1000′s per year in prescription drug benefits by closing the “Donut Hole”. It forces Insurance companies to actually spend 85% of premiums rather than over paying their CEOs, some as much as $40 million/yr. As state Insurance exchanges get set up it will drive down cost because the Greedy Insurance industry wil have to compete with States. These are just a few of the Benefits of ObamaCare. The only Citizens that will be “Taxed” are the ones Stupid enough not to be covered by Health Care Insurance. I think it should be higher than the $95 Fine. Of course I do not believe ObamaCare went far enough. Obama should have stuck with at Least a Public Option, but he cowered to the GOP. Our best solution is “Single Payer”..more on that later. I hope I have cleared up some of your misconceptions…It is appauling that Americans would actually vote against their own Economic and Health care reform interests by supporting the GOP/Tea Party and Flip Robme.

I called both Senator Feinstein and Senator Boxer. Senator Feinstein has a live person answering and I gave my opinion respectfully to stop the Obama taxes. However when I call Senator Feinstein she always has a recording. She doesn’t have the moxie to have her staff listen. i wouldn’t be surprised if she deletes all the messages. I also told the Feinstein staff member to tell her to keep up the good work with the security leaks, I was sorry she took the wrath for her comments, but I support her good work on that issue.

Our nation is in danger as never before. There will end up being no place to get goods and services from. The Government of the US was set up as a Government with the consent of the Governed. There needed to be simpler, smaller, government governed with the consent of the governed. The practice of the Senate not passing a legal budget as required by law, refusing to bring up a vote on the house bills, that are proposed is not governing with the consent of the people. Those Senators are all elected by the people in their respective districts. Those people deserve to have a their Representatives vote. No Matter the outcome, people deserve a up or down vote by their representatives. This is how people judge whether their elected officials have kept their commitments they made when running. This is not some kind of game but a government of the people & if people like Harry Reid are afraid of the outcome & are trying to avoid going on the record with their votes, whatever that may be, then Mr Reid & cowards that call themselves elected by the people do not deserve reelection by either parties’ citizens.
