Today, the Tea Party Patriots, the largest tea party organization in the country, hailed the victory in the Indiana Senate primary race as State Treasurer Richard Mourdouck ousted establishment candidate Sen. Richard Lugar who had been in Congressional office for 36 years.
“Lugar’s defeat should wake up entrenched Washington,” said Jenny Beth Martin, co-founder and national coordinator of Tea Party Patriots. ”The tea party movement continues to be the most influential force this election year. Sen. Lugar betrayed the principles of fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited government and free markets that must be addressed this year or the American people will choose new leaders as happened today and in 2010. This upset is no surprise to tax paying Americans in Indiana.”

Congratulations Richard Mourdouck !
Good Luck in Washington; it’s a vicious town.
Stick to your principles and don’t let them corrupt you.

One by one, They shall answer for their evil ways. I hope the new folks stay on track or they will be removed as well. We had one here in NY Congressmen Chris Gibson. He went to the dark side within 100 days of his election. Now they realigned the districts where I live in order to help keep him in office. Stupid dems, he is in an even more conservative district now. Bye Chris, get in line with the rest of us.

Congratulations Richard! Look forward to you getting to Washington!
Thinning out the heard of weak or dying RINO’S.
This is what the Tea Party is for. To get big spenders and power hungry polititians out and replace them with true conservative patriots that will respect our God given freedoms and use the constitution (which was given to us by God) as their guide. God has given us the Constitution as our manual for freedom and economic prosperity. If we try to keep Gods commandments and use the Constitution as the governing guide for this Great Nation we will be Free Prosperous and Happy. Freedom Loving Tea Party Patriots, Keep up the great work. God gave us the Constitution and our Freedom. It is up to us to keep it. RCJ
A victory on the long road to take back this country and restore it to its core principles. Congratulations Mr. Mourdouck! You will have my support in the fall.
We have given you the chance to prove you are better than them now march to Washington and show them we mean that we believe in you.
Richard Mourdock will make a fine U.S. Senator. The Tea Party Movement in Indiana worked hard to make this happen because we wanted to see someone in Washington DC that would stand up for our Values, and the Constitution.
Nobody welcomes the Tea Party as a supreme dictatorship. The Koch Brothers are not dictators
Dewey. Keep walking hard my brother.
Stay united stay strong and committed and we will prevail
