Updates from the Road to Repeal

It has already been a busy week for Tea Party Patriots as the Supreme Court debates ObamaCare’s constitutionality. On Saturday, despite persistent rain, thousands of Patriots joined us in Washington, DC for the Road to Repeal Rally. Yesterday, we had hundreds of people outside of the Supreme Court calling for repeal. The rallies and protests this week have been a smashing success but the unions and the left have been out in large numbers too.
We need your help today to counter the massive organizing power of the unions who are supporting the Presidents health care scheme. Please donate $25, $50, $100, or more to repeal ObamaCare. We have more rallies, protests, and press conferences planned this week but that will not be the end. We must maintain the fight for repeal or all Americans will be stuck with another government program that will eventually bankrupt this nation.

Remember Nancy Pelosi’s comment that we’d have to pass the bill to learn what’s in it? Well, we now know what’s in it. ObamaCare should never have been passed and the Tea Party Patriots remain committed to helping patriots across the nation ensure its complete repeal.
The Road to Repeal is just the beginning. This is not a fight we can afford to lose. As ObamaCare is currently written:
- The federal government will determine if your medical care is essential.
- 80 million people will not be able to keep their current health care coverage.
The Obama Administration will create hundreds of new boards, agencies and commissions empowering Washington bureaucrats to control your health care.

Good news from the Supreme Court today. FOX reported that justice Kennedy has stated he is basically not in agreement with the Health Care bill before the court. His position is considered remarkable in that he has sided with the Democrat positions most of the time, and no one expected him to switch sides in this, the most important piece of legislation the Jack-Ass in Chief can leave as a legacy when we kick his butt out in Nov.
I’m sure Hannity will have more on his show tonight.

I am a 15 year old highschool student and the whole concept of obamacare goes against ervything I have learnt about the constitution and the role of our government thus far. I take imense pride in our nation and it is frankly appalling to hear about things like this that are against all the ideals of our democracy. Lets make a change 2012 and retake our country. Thank you.

As a payroll and human resource professional I can tell you first hand what Obamacare has done to small businesses and employees. It has made several small businesses to not be able to provide their employees with Health Care as they had before….How?
A lot of small businesses depend upon a PEO (Professional Employer Organization) to provide benefits to their employees. These organizations could pool a small companies employees with other small companies employees to create a pool, thus creating a larger base of employees all together to create a middle ground payment structure that was good for everyone. When Obamacare took effect it stated that PEO’s could no longer do this and small businesses were required to go out on there own and get insurance for their employees. Small businesses don’t have the capital to do this and be able to subsidize a portion of the cost as they were when pooling their employees they had to forgo giving employees health benefits, thus leaving employees uncovered.

Fight on fellow Patriots! I know this Obamanation of a government can be defeated. Just get them the hell out of our lives already. More agencies, more bureaucrats, more IRS agents. Enough is enough, just stop! We were doing just fine 40 years ago before you started mandating all this crap upon us. Here’s an idea: instead of constantly passing new laws, why don’t you spend your time repealing everything you’ve done for the last 40 years. If what you have done in the last 40 years is so great, why were we better off 40 years ago without it?

I question Obama’s ‘I work for the people’ statement. If he really worked for the people, he would’ve listened when the majority of the population cried out against Obamacare… something this impactful should’ve really been voted on by the American PEOPLE. I really hope this gets overturned… I’m not even old enough to vote or earn a salary, but the fact that Obamacare might still be around when I am makes steam come out of my ears. The fact that more money will be coming out of MY hard-earned future salary to pay for SOMEBODY ELSE’S healthcare makes no sense! Certain politicians have turned into a money-sucking parasites and really need to be voted out of office. How can any of these Democrats talk about hard work? Their real message seems to be ‘You work hard so we can leech off you.’ It’s almost as if they discourage hard work.

The above is an interview from the younger generation of journalists, so there is a bit of a disconnect for me in listening to this young interviewer and interviewee as they seem to focus on the more liberal to progressive factions of those who rally to protest state, federal and international governing bodies. In some ways it came across as an effort to frighten people from peacefully congregating and protesting in a non-confrontational manner according to the Constitution.
Having said that, a great number of us have just returned from the two rallies in DC opposing Obama’s Healthcare law. There was no intimidation of any of the protesters; we were left in peace to have our speakers and cheer them on. We then ended our rally and proceeded peacefully past the Supreme Court to our cars and other modes of transportation, holding our signs up proudly, singing and chanting. We paused in front of the Supreme Court to pray and sing and take pictures. The police guard came down to the lower tier of steps behind the barriers and maintained their distance in quiet respect to our efforts.
With that said, I can’t see any problem with our continued effort to rally and protest if done in a collected, respectful manner.

MANY YOUNSTERS, WILL JUST ACCEPT THAT ITS NEVER BEEN ANY OTHER WAY. WORK ETHIC AND TRADITIONAL VALUES ARE WHAT IS DISTROYED IN ALL SOCIETY THAT FORCES SOCIALISM AND COMMUNISM ON A UNSUSPECTING PEOPLE. LOOK UP THE DEFINITION OF MIDDLE INCOME AND SEE HOW IT COMPARES TO THE SOCIETY THAT DEPENDED UPON ONE PARENT WORKING TO SUPPORT A FAMILY, AND NOW THE TWO INCOME TAXPAYER. THE RANGE AND MEDIAN INCOME OF SINGLE PARENTS WHO THINK THEY ARE MIDDLE INCOME BECAUSE THEY PAY TAXES. DEFINITION IS EVERYTHING AND THE LAST THREE YEARS ARE ATTEMPTS TO CHANGE THE IDEA OF WHO IS RICH AND WHO IS POOR. THERE AREN’T MANY INDIVIDUALS MAKING OVER THE $250,000 “MIDDLE INCOME” FIGURE. WITH OBAMACARE RAISING THE LOW INCOME FIGURE TO OVER 400% OF THE POVERTY LEVEL, MILLIONS WILL SWITCH TO THEIR OWN TAX SUBSIDIED HEALTHCARE, JUST TO INCREASE THEIR TAKE HOME PAY FOR RISING ELECTRIC, FOOD AND GAS AND HEATING BILLS. AND KEEP ON HAVING TO PAY FOR THOSE WHO IRS DOESN’T SEEK OUT TO PAY TAXES OR SOCIAL SECURITY. CHECK OUT YOUR STATE ALSO. HOW MANY TAX INVESTIGATORS, GET OUT OF THE OFFICE TO COUNT THE UNDER PAYERS AND WORKERS WHO TAKE HOME MORE BECAUSE THEY AREN’T ON THE BOOKS? MANDATORY ONLY APPLIES TO THOSE WHO ARE HONEST AND WORK FOR LICENSED TAX MONITORED BUSINESS. YOU CAN’T PROVE A NEGATIVE AND GOVERNMENT DOESN’T TRY TO TAKE TAXES FROM THE SOCIALLY AND MENTALLY DEPENDENT ON OTHERS.

When the left took power of all three branches in 2008, they deceived themselves into believing that their rise to power was some sort of mandate and that the population would roll over and accept progressive statism. They had no idea that they were about to meet a mass resistance movement that would be so effective, it would result in their signature legislation being overturned two years later in the Supreme Court, and the dominant national narrative would become about how to roll back government, not how government should be expanded. They are now facing the very real prospect that everything the left had worked so relentlessly for since the day Karl Marx first published is coming to an end in this country. They are shocked and angry, but they will eventually get used to losing and accept their defeat in the coming years. Tea Party, don’t forget to take time every now and then from your busy days to give yourself a pat on the back for all that you have accomplished. You are national heroes.
