I really got excited when I saw this announcement for the “Road to Repeal Rally” in Washington, DC…and even more so when I saw Herman Cain’s name as one of the speakers…needless to say I am a supporter of Herman Cain and even though he is not in the presidential nomination race anymore I am still a supporter of his “999 presidential platform”…It’s been very difficult for me since Mr Cain was forced out of the race even though I was more than willing to get behind Newt Gingrich as my alternate candidate, but now it seems that Newt Gingrich is being bulldozed out of the race…my original idea for a Presidential and Vice Presidential Republican ticket would have been Cain and Newt or Newt and Cain…however…my hopes have almost completely died and I am faced with having to vote for a Republican Presidential candidate I do not feel will be the best for our country simply to keep Obama from another term in the White House…a term that our country can not successfully withstand with the present leadership from the Obama Administration along with the Democrat controlled Senate…I wish I could physically help with this rally but I am disabled so I can’t commit to that kind of involvement but I will help in any way possible to get the word out about this rally because I would love to see as many people involved and included in this demonstration of a show of support for repealing Obamacare or as it should be seen as Obama-don’tcare/Obama-deathcare…Thank you, Maggie “a proud Army Mom and grandma from northern Iowa”

“Christianity neither is, nor ever was, a part of the common law.” Thomas Jefferson
“There is not one redeeming feature in our superstition of Christianity. It has made one half the world fools, and the other half hypocrites.” ~Thomas Jefferson
“The doctrine of the divinity of Jesus is made a convenient cover for
absurdity.” ~John Adams
• “The United States is in no way founded on the Christian Religion.” George Washington
“The Bible is not my Book and Christianity is not my religion. I could never give assent to the long complicated statements of Christian dogma.” — Abraham Lincoln, in a letter to a friend
“The National Government will regard it as its first and foremost duty to revive in the nation the spirit of unity and cooperation. It will preserve and defend those basic principles on which our nation has been built. It regards Christianity as the foundation of our national morality, and the family as the basis of national life”
– Adolph Hitler – Proclamation to the German Nation at Berlin, February
John Hancock
1st Signer of the Declaration of Independence
“Resistance to tyranny becomes the Christian and social duty of each individual. … Continue steadfast and, with a proper sense of your dependence on God, nobly defend those rights which heaven gave, and no man ought to take from us.”
–History of the United States of America, Vol. II, p. 229.
“The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity. I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God.”
–Adams wrote this on June 28, 1813, in a letter to Thomas Jefferson.
George Washington
1st U.S. President
“While we are zealously performing the duties of good citizens and soldiers, we certainly ought not to be inattentive to the higher duties of religion. To the distinguished character of Patriot, it should be our highest glory to add the more distinguished character of Christian.”
–The Writings of Washington, pp. 342-343.
Benjamin Franklin
Signer of the Declaration of Independence and Unites States Constitution
“Here is my Creed. I believe in one God, the Creator of the Universe. That He governs it by His Providence. That He ought to be worshipped.
That the most acceptable service we render to him is in doing good to his other children. That the soul of man is immortal, and will be treated with justice in another life respecting its conduct in this. These I take to be the fundamental points in all sound religion, and I regard them as you do in whatever sect I meet with them.
As to Jesus of Nazareth, my opinion of whom you particularly desire, I think the system of morals and his religion, as he left them to us, is the best the world ever saw, or is likely to see;
But I apprehend it has received various corrupting changes, and I have, with most of the present dissenters in England, some doubts as to his divinity; though it is a question I do not dogmatize upon, having never studied it, and think it needless to busy myself with it now, when I expect soon an opportunity of knowing the truth with less trouble. I see no harm, however, in its being believed, if that belief has the good consequence, as probably it has, of making his doctrines more respected and more observed; especially as I do not perceive, that the Supreme takes it amiss, by distinguishing the unbelievers in his government of the world with any peculiar marks of his displeasure.”
–Benjamin Franklin wrote this in a letter to Ezra Stiles, President of Yale University on March 9, 1790.

If I could only be with you all, it would be a great blessing to me. I did send in $25.00 to help with expenses and have posted a comment on the Patriot Feed for others to do the same. Gob has blessed us all and especially those who have the ability to work at making our impact viable and news worthy.
Take care and be careful. Al Dedmon, (AL THE TRUCKER)
Going to the rally…..
I wish that we could have a live video feed of the event here on the Tea Party site.
I look forward to standing shoulder to shoulder with my fellow citizens as we gather again in the heart of our government on March 24th, to let them hear loud and clear what “we the People” think about their policies. The Tea Party Tax day had a huge impact in 2009 when we all met on the plaza, and I believe this event will also embolden our brethren around the country in a way that will make them all that feel empowered to stand up and espouse the very simple and clear ideas that will return America to the land of prosperity. I hope all of you will consider making the trip. It is so important and is truly the least we can all do to preserve the ideas that are at the core of what our country stands for. America was built on the ideas of a Constitutionally limited government! This combined with our inalienable rights to Freedom, liberty and the unfettered pursuit of happiness are our the simple tenets that need to be the driving force behind every policy decision made by our government. Join us on the mall at the supreme court to make sure they hear us!!!!!
I am Extremely excited about Saturday!! My daughter & son both get to vote in their Very First Presidential Election this year, but I did not expect them to actualy Want to attend the rally with me & my husband. I can express the Huge amount of Pride I have in my kids in wanting to take a stand against Political corruption already. I really hope Alot of people attend and that this is not swept under the rug by Any of the media!! This will be my 1st Large rally like this, so I’m very excited to actually be with my fellow Patriots and take back our country!! God Bless!! See you all Saturday!!!
I am saddened by the many Americans who have lost their spirituality along with their sense of independence. As Mother Theresa said, “it is a special kind of poverty.” I look forward to joining the many Tea Party Patriots who are wealthy far-beyond money and made stronger by the lack of understanding from the already weakened and dependent masses. I look forward to wearing their criticism like a badge of honor!
Even if the one you would prefer dosn’t get nominated–vote for the one who does..we’ve got to get Barack Huessien obaummer out along withe rest of his 60′s radicals..they will bring down our country…hope its not too late
