Deal in the district! Let’s make a real deal for once!

Do you like deals? Well, Congress has a Super Committee working on a super deal for you right now! As usual, it sounds great. The problem is, as usual, it’s not that great!
The Super Committee has been tasked by Senate Leader Harry Reid and Speaker John Boehner with finding spending cuts of $1.2 trillion over the next 10 years! Wow! That’s great! Well, not so fast. We have a $1.3 trillion budget deficit this year alone! That is on top of a $1.6 trillion deficit last year. Plus, ten years is a long, long time in Washington. Future Congresses may decide they too want to remain as fiscally irresponsible as their predecessors and ignore the spending cut recommendations of the Super Committee.
If the super committee agrees to a proposal, the plan will be presented to Congress for an up-or-down vote, with no amendments permitted. If the super committee fails to produce a proposal, Congress does not adopt the super committee’s bill or the plan results in less than $1.2 trillion in reductions, $1.2 trillion in automatic, across-the-board cuts will be instituted, including $500 billion in defense spending. These cuts will be scheduled to take place in 2013.
However, as mentioned, the Congress of 2013 can ignore the Super Committee and spend away as they are infamous for doing! So all the theatre of the Super Committee is most likely just a big, Washington show.
There’s more. Washington plays tricks with the truth when it comes to spending cuts. Politicians love to tell the American people they have been busy reducing spending when, in reality, they are merely reducing the rate of spending increases! Politicians are sneaky like that!
So what do we do? On November 17, join thousands of Tea Party patriots from around the country for a Deal in the District. We will be visiting the local offices of our Representatives to express our desire for REAL CUTS. Experience shows that even a small number of constituents visiting the offices of their representatives has a major impact on Congressional votes.
Tell your Congressmen and Senators that we want real spending cuts and just not reductions on the rate of spending! Tell them we will not accept tax increases to pay for their insatiable spending appetite! Take your neighbors, family and friends with you and let your voice be heard.

The most important thing is to do SOMETHING! Common-sense Americans must let our leaders know that we expect results and not the same irresponsible smoke and mirrors that have led us to a $15 trillion national debt! We must demand that Washington exercise fiscal responsibility. Let your voices ring out in defense and support of government for and by the people that does the right thing…for once!

Tea Party Patriots
I have tried to contact the tea party movement in Texoma. Are you people dead? No activity whatsoever. No response. Where the hell are you? You do understand that our country, our Constitution is under attack? At this point I seriously doubt that any election will change things due to the new world order. I am looking to fight but I cannot do it alone. What say ye people? Where are the patriots? Not only patriots?…….. the whole world is in trouble. Answer me or I go elsewhere. I will call you sheeple. Dammit stand up with one loud voice. The enemy is inside the gates and you may call him the antichrist.
Jim, I just rejoined. So far it looks like the Tea party has been hijacked by the established Republicans. I hope they help and I hope they explain to me how a corrupted party will help. If the Tea Party keeps letting the crooked Republicans in, we are lost. Newt will not set us straight. It is a simple fact, Democrats fast boat, Republicans slow boat. Same ending different speed. Check how long the Reps have done nothing but cave. Martha Stewart was arrested for insider trading and the Reps and Dems are both exempt and can trade what they want & we pay them.
You don’t like Newt. I have viewed all the debates and he outshines all the others. He has good answers and he managed to have a balanced budget for 4 years and cut welfare among other things. He actually made Clinton look good. We see the roster of candidates, and obviously we have to pick one. What is your solution? Criticizing is one thing, but it would seem you would need to back that up with an alternative. The main objective is to remove the Kenyan Marxist and all the other Marxists from Congress.
Newt is on the surface at least, one of the best choices of the list of Republicans running against Obama. I state this only as to his over all knowledge of the U.S. Constitution and what appears to be his desire to make the Constitution more important the meaningless bills that would only further drain and damage this Nation, and from what he states about what we need to do regarding daily operation of the USA in all aspects of running the Government. Newt does not support illegal activity. Newt takes a stand against border jumpers getting a free ride and he does not support us giving billions of dollars to just anyone that seeks a free ride on the US taxpayer, including other countries. And to some degree, Newt is at least awake and able to respond to questions and give answers to those questions instead of having to go “off topic” due to lack of facts or information.

Cutting Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security is a tax on the poor and middle income. Don’t let the government raise taxes on these people. Fight back!!

i want congress and all elected officals in washington to stop using smokking mirrors and miss use our tax money for re election–please resign if they are un able to do the job that they were elected to do–please don’t lie about cuts in money when they add more taxes–
On Thursday at noon local time, members of the Central Valley Tea Party Patriots-Auberry Chapter, visited their Congressional representative Devin Nunes at the Clovis office in to demand the so-called “Super Committee” show fiscal responsibility and make real spending cuts, not accounting gimmicks. Owen and Jeanne Schales, Caryl Clayton, Amanda and Ron Arteno left letters at the Congressmans office reminding him he hasn’t signed the Letter Urging No Tax Increases in “Supercommittee” Bill. Congressman Jeff Denham’s name isn’t there either. The key line in the letter is as follows: “With current levels of taxation already limiting economic growth, we believe that marginal rates must be maintained or lowered and that repeal of any tax credit or deduction be offset with an equal or greater tax cut.”

Now, the American people must focus on holding President Obama to his word to “veto any measures to override” the triggers…those people in congress cannot be allowed to keep kicking the can down the road. They cannot be allowed to think that they can make tough decisions only when it’s convenient for them to do so. It was agreed that if they couldn’t do the part of the job of coming up with $1.2 trillion in cuts themselves, then the automatic cuts would happen. We must not allow them to fall back on this particular contract with America. We can’t!
Hello. I hope to not offend anyone by what I may state here, and to say the least, I have a whole gang of stuff to say.
We have allowed (as a people) the crooks in Washington to get too deep into each of our personal life. The issues presented in this particular article are important, but really it merely scratches the surface of all that needs to be fixed in Washington.
Who to support and how to support them (Republican or not) what do we as a people do? I have actually wished that the Lord would grant me just one single wish or miracle, that being please allow those men and women that started this Nation, that they would arise up from the depths of the grave and take the lead, the helm, the control of getting rid of those in power now, to do what ever is needed to bring this Nation back to the roots of living and having this beautiful Nation, back to the basics, back to only the rule and ideals of the U.S. Constitution as to how it was all originally designed.
This Nation has been pulled away from the very principles and ideals our loving founding fathers worked and gave of themselves to draft and endorse and make the U.S. Constitution exist. The way that things have taken place over the last hundred years or so, is complex. But the errors and corruption is not beyond being removed from office. It only would take the courage of the people, those that are willing to make a stand, be heard, with careful and deliberate cause and course of action, take back our Nation.
I personally view the Tea Party as a means to rid this Nation of the crooks, the corruption that had been bleeding this Nation dry.
We have the most anti American and “elected” government sitting in office, than our entire national history. We can pander to the media and complain about one chunk of an issue to the next, and if you can sit and ponder this statement, you can understand that those in power desire anyone that would oppose them, to do just that. The real controlling individuals know if they can toss something into the media and take up our time, we will spend thousands of hours in a debate to deal with just that one topic and get nothing done to really fix what is broken. Is there even one person whom needs to be told what is really wrong with what is going on in Washington? What really needs to be fixed? Until we have decent, honest individuals sitting in office, there is not one single issue that is going to be changed. Not a one. It does not have to be “rocket science” to see that if a blind person was asked to drive a car across country, it just won’t happen and the same is true regarding the leadership of this Nation. Corruption and dishonesty has blinded those in power.
I am only one single person. I have a voice and I have a vote. I further have served this nation in the U.S. Military. I support the Republican party over the Democratic party. It does not mean I think or find all Republicans more honest than all those Democrats. What is does mean is that as a Party, the Democrats will sell our souls to “free programs” that will cost us, and our great grand children for decades to come, to be taxed to death to pay for those “free programs”. There is nothing free about freedom. The U.S. Constitution does not state or grant “free health care” or any other “free programs”, what is does grant and promise us, by law, is to have the freedom to live and pursue a life that is not hindered by the abuse of a Government that would oppose that very freedom to earn and have what we can by hard work.
I stand and will stand with anyone that loves this Nation as I do. I am willing to serve my Nation in any way possible. I am willing to call upon the leadership of this Nation and to address them in the way they should be addressed, crooks and liars and thieves. I am willing to vote for anyone that is honest, and is a Patriot, and willing to undo the corruption that grows like a bad weed grows in a crop of food. I am willing to March to Washington and to band together with anyone else that wants to have a voice heard.
I do not advocate violence. But if the legality of the US Constitution that states we the people have a right to take back our nation, and a lawful group of Americans were led to take arms and take back this Nation, I would (in only following what by law what would be legal) gladly support taking back this Nation. I am willing to do what ever is lawful, to see that this Nation is restored to what our founding fathers designed this Nation to be and to see it be restored by the letter of the law per the U.S. Constitution.
No, I am not a Militia member. No, I am not saying lets all run out and grab a shot gun and storm Washington. What I am saying that I am willing to take a stand. I am willing to fight for my Nation. I am willing to do things lawfully, period, to restore this beautiful Nation to where is should be, and not how it is today.
We can debate side issues until hell freezes over, it really will not make one once of difference. We need to get real Americans in office. We need to get the crooks out. No matter how you cut it, that is the only issue we should be directing attention to.
Because the Republican party never compromises!!!
