Ohio Tea Party Groups Pressure Boehner, House Freshmen on Debt Deal

50 Ohio Organizations Send Letter Opposing Any Raise in Debt Ceiling
WASHINGTON, DC – This week, more than 50 Ohio tea party groups sent a letter to Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) and the recently elected Ohio freshman opposing any increase in the debt ceiling as part of the solution to the current debt crisis. The groups which sent the letter, available here, are affiliated with the nation’s largest tea party organization, Tea Party Patriots.
“Speaker Boehner must listen to his all Americans, and certainly to those in his home state of Ohio,” said Jenny Beth Martin, National Coordinator of Tea Party Patriots. “The Ohio freshmen who were elected by the tea party—giving Speaker Boehner his leadership position—must know that their constituents clearly reject any increase in the debt ceiling.”
Excerpts of the letter include the following:
“We are fully aware of the consequences of the debt ceiling not being raised, as we are also fully aware of measures that can be taken which will keep us from defaulting, will maintain vital services and will maintain payment to our military.
“We, the undersigned groups from Ohio, respectfully request that under your leadership, the debt ceiling NOT be raised, that legislation assuring we will not default, that vital services continue uninterrupted (Full Faith & Credit Act / HR 421), and that the military will be paid (Ensuring Pay of our Military Act of 2011 / HR 1297), immediately be passed by the United States House of Representatives.
“As the American public will be forced to pay the price of any debt ceiling increase, so too will the elected officials from Ohio ignoring the wishes of the Tea Party, 9.12 and liberty-minded groups from here, as will the elected officials from other states ignoring the wishes of well over half of this country.”
The Tea Party Patriots are the only major tea party organization to stand firm for spending cuts and against raising the debt ceiling and are collecting signatures for their petition to not raise the debt ceiling at www.NoDebtIncrease.com.
Tea Party Patriots is a national grassroots coalition with more than 3,300 locally organized chapters and more than 15 million supporters nationwide. To Whom It May Concern:
Please drop the “Right to Work” push until after the November 2012 election. You saw what labor can do by the results of Issue 2. You start this campaign up now Obama would win the WH in November and we all do not want that. Trust me when I say this would be death to any Conservative in the WH if you push this to be on the ballot in Nov. 2012.
Think about it!
Sincerely,
Betsy Noonan

It is time to get a conservative voice to replace Boehner. Period
It doesn’t matter what happens to Obama as long as the Republican party insists on being Democrat Lite. Change must start in Ohio… unless Boehner is replaced, nothing will change. Is there an effort in Ohio to challenge him in a primary? Time for the Tea Party to stop being cheerleaders and start leading.
please check in to the Ohio Liberty Council and ask about rVotes; Our patriot group is on board and it looks like a great way to get the results we are after.
replacing the speaker and Obama is a very good start. Then we keep working.!!!

The Republican party is being played like a fiddle. When Gingrich was surging in the polls they trot out Nancy Pelosi to threaten to reveal his secrets. She knows the right thinks of her as the wicked witch of the west, so what was her goal? If you want to ambush an opponent you don’t tell him where you’ll be hiding. Clearly she was trying to get the Repubs to circle the wagons around Gingrich so he would get the nomination.
Now with Santorum surging they contrive a war on religion knowing it will help the socially conservative candidate who has made such issues the center of his campaign.
The only candidate they have attacked personally has been Mitt Romney. Do you really believe the OWS movement started because of people’s outrage over the Wall Street bailouts? If so, why did it take three years to get organized? The left’s goal is to make this a class warfare campaign and their hope is to make Romney’s wealth an issue. If Republicans give in on this the left has won a huge victory – including a second term for Obama.
Santorum is a career politician. He is a government insider. He is socially conservative, but not financially conservative. What are the biggest problems our country is facing? Huge deficit spending and high unemployment. How do you elect a candidate who has no experience in job creation, who has been part of the spending problem, and think you’re going to solve any problems?
WAKE UP REPUBLICANS!
Santorum is no fan of the Tea Party!

NOTE: I’m not going to personally attack Rick Santorum or his wife who opted to sue her chiropractor for $500,000. Complaint http://tinyurl.com/74qvxss
At the time Senator Santorum was stumping against his opponent for a $250,000 cap on medical malpractice suits.
Whatever.
It’s no secret Santorum is a serial hypocrite.
“Do as I say, not as I did”
But Santorum’s voting record is overwhelmingly inconsistent with the campaign propaganda that comes out of his mouth.
Santorum is not remotely a conservative or a defender of freedom.
He is a big government, “Show-me-the-money” LOBBYIST. Period. End of story.
Santorum is also the “Lobbyists’ Best Friend”.
He was rated #1 in Lobbyist Cash for 2006

★Club for Growth today rendered an opinion on U.S. Rep. Ron Paul’s charge that Rick Santorum is a “big government, big spending individual.”
Verdict: Mostly true.
From Club for Growth analysis:
During a particularly touchy exchange at the ABC News debate, Paul attacked Santorum for being a “big-government, big spending individual.” To back up this claim, Paul offered four substantive examples: that Santorum voted to raise the nation’s debt limit five times, that Santorum voted against “right to work” laws, that he voted for No Child Left Behind, and that he voted for the Medicare Prescription Drug benefit.
Research shows that all four substantive allegations against Santorum are true.

★Patriot Act
Privacy is in 4th amendment, but Patriot Act is ok
Q: [to Paul] Sen. Santorum believes that the Supreme Court was wrong when it decided that a right to privacy was embedded in the Constitution.
SANTORUM: No, let’s be clear. We’re talking about the 10th Amendment and the right of states to act.
PAUL: I think the Fourth Amendment is very clear. It is explicit in our privacy. You can’t go into anybody’s house and look at what they have or their papers or any private things without a search warrant. This is why the Patriot Act is wrong, because you have a right of privacy by the Fourth Amendment.
SANTORUM: Congressman Paul is talking about privacy rights under the Fourth Amendment, in which I agree with him, I don’t necessarily agree that the Patriot Act violates that. But I do agree that obviously we have a right to privacy under the Fourth Amendment.

OHIO SHOULD HAVE ANOTHER CANDIDATE RUNNIN G AGAINST JOHN BOEHNER. HE IS AS MUCH OF THE PROBLEM IN WASHINGTON AS THE DEMOCRATS WITH IS WISHY WASHY ATTITUDE. WE NEED POLITICANS WHO WILL STAND FOR “WE THE PEOPLE” BOEHNER IS NOT IT OHIO WAKW UP GET SOMEONE WHO WILL
I am probably considered the enemy, but more and more as a liberal i would like to get rid of most of the federal government. We send out money there and the politicians do what ever they want with it and send the states back scraps with strings attached.
Parts of this country are still fundamentally different, and all we do with this crazy federal government is switch back and forth between liberal and conservative policies, so half the country is unhappy and the debt goes up every year, and we all get less.
We need some federal government, so defense, but not defending everybody all over the world, we need to secure our own defenses first and our borders. We don’t need non-citizens coming into our country and stealing our jobs and taking services, probably i feel that way for different reasons, but i still do.
I say if Alabama doesn’t want abortion then fine, if New York does then fine. Same with Health care, each state can do what it wants. Massachusetts did, but didn’t make texas do it.
If I had the choice, even being liberal, i would vote for Ron Paul because he says what he actually believes and wants to abolish the income tax, the source of the spending, even if I disagree with some of what he says. These two parties are both evil. The problem is that the middle class is split into two camps, liberal and conservative and both are getting screwed, and somehow the crooked politicians will triumph over both of us if we don’t find a third way and agree to disagree.
What do you think?

Obama cannot be re-elected as he has broken the law and has instigated illegalities in the UK. All for the sake of pre-election unity and donations.
We have been both threatened and bribed to keep things quiet, but this is not going to work.
